Electric cars just move emissions from the tailpipe to the power plant. What we really need to do is drive less. Much less.

The only people stupider than the oil supporters are people that oppose wind turbines because they are dangerous to birds, or because they are ugly.

They don't in their day-to-day operations, but still cause pollution when they're being deigned and manufactured and later when they're being dismantled.

Even if electric cars get electricity from coal the equivalent CO2 emissions are still half that of gas cars.
