antibiotics after surgery

would these be necessary to curb infection or would one be better off not taking them and continuing whatever their normal diet is whether sad or raw.

i had oral surgery and did not take prescribed antibiotics.  i did not get any infection and everything got healed OK.  if someone's immune system is in the top shape i don't think antibiotics are needed.

im not talking about someone whos immune system is in top shape like us. im talking about normal people.

would colloidal silver be better than antibiotics?
