Who thinks the American Veterinary Medical Association wants to put people off raw pet food to protect sales of manufactured foods and to increase business through creating more sick pets ?  -v

Yeah, my first thought at reading the thread title was "what a bunch of morons", but then I read your post and realized they're about as sincere as a bunch of politicians.

I think they have to do that officially. If they officially support raw pet foods,  they could expect many lawsuits brought against them from pet owners who would claim their pets get sick from raw pet foods...for the sake of getting millions of $$$.

When I took my two dogs to the vet for the first time, over 8 years ago, he wanted to give me a large bag of kibble for them as a freebie. It seemed to me that he was embarrassed when I refused his offer. His practice sells kibble.
