 are not only components of car-exhaust fumes and cigarette-smoke but also are created when cooking foods. So, even if we go raw, we can't escape those toxins completely unless we live miles away from urban areas

I would imagine cooked food has a similar effect, wouldn't you?

I suppose I ought to go and live in the Alps, as far away from roads/cars as possible.

Quite.

I suppose I ought to go and live in the Alps, as far away from roads/cars as possible.

Hopefully we're young and healthy enough, with our eating and lifestyle habits, to live into a time where disease and aging are unknown.

Also, It's only going to take one more big jump in battery technology before electric cars are better than gas or diesel vehicles.
