Health / Re: Vitamin D
« on: November 05, 2020, 02:07:04 am »
I agree on the CLO or any other supplement.

Animal products have D and the "fat activators" in the animal products allow much greater uptake.

Vitamin D supplements are not the same substance as Vitamin D in animal products.  I don't take any supplements and don't believe that they are helpful, probably toxic if anything.

I get into the sun as much as I can, even if it is a few minutes at a time on the face and in the eyes, and find a warm spot up against a big wall in the sun.  Remove my shirt if possible even for a few minutes.

I also eat raw animal products like milk, butter, cheese, meats.  D is in there.  I feel fine in the winter now and used to suffer from it.

Primal Diet / Re: How much is a bunch of parsley/cilantro?
« on: November 02, 2020, 01:41:06 am »
yea depending on the season and store they vary.  I think the idea is to have a 1:2 ratio of parsley to celery.  or to put it another way, twice as much celery as parsley.  So I just guess at it when I buy it.

Primal Diet / Re: Coconut cream vs coconut milk?
« on: November 02, 2020, 01:38:59 am »
To answer the original question:
I think eating a whole coconut and drinking the water is good.  I sometimes buy the highest quality coconut water but it is a once and a while treat, not nearly as good as fresh.

And I sometimes buy raw cream from originallivingcoconut.com and it is really good by itself or mixed with other stuff.  Banana, papaya, lime, berries, cucumber.  I feel like it has been really cleansing when I've eaten it and after a jar or two I don't want it for a while.  It is a natural probiotic too.

no, typically I get turned off by them after a bit and then let them sit in glass in the fridge until I want it again

Yea we already researched a homeschool option and are moving in that direction quickly.  My wife, daughter and I all are on the same page...will not take a vaccination so whatever that means we are ready for.  Lets hope it doesn't happen.

my vote is for spring water.  I like Crystal Geyser for the bulk of it - $1 a gallon at the dollar store.  Then I buy some others not so frequently, like Mountain Valley is my favorite.  But mostly I drink raw milk for hydration and eat one fruit a day.  Hardly drink any water unless it is really hot or I bask in the sun.

Hello smokeyquartz,

I'm doing very well and so is my family.  I am in Media, PA near Philadelphia.  I have considered going somewhere else for many years and explored other places like Costa Rica and North Carolina mountains.

I have now settled on staying put for whatever happens.  This is a really nice place and I feel like I belong here.  I guess I was shown that there are issues everywhere you go.  I'm not saying that some places are not better or that everyone should stay put.  I think some may need to move.  Just saying that it is easy to think that that grass is greener on the other side and I have experienced that.

I also do not like the fast track vaccine idea, but I think it may just be his way of pleasing the people who want that, so that they can't say that he didn't do everything that he could.  I don't think anything will be mandatory.

however long it takes.  take your time.  go for the long run and don't push yourself too hard or you will feel terrible along the way.  things take a long time.  you will heal.

I can understand this all in theory, but if I eat raw meat and have a parasite infection from it with symptoms, I don't know how it would be a good thing.

How it would be a good thing is that they eat large quantities of things that you don't want in your body and they aid in digestion.  That is why they are there.  Once they do their job they go dormant or leave.  No need normally to control or change them.

Primal Diet / Re: Aajonus ciloantro heavy metals
« on: October 15, 2020, 11:47:43 pm »
I have used celery/parsley as suggested by Aajonus and I think that will help with heavy metals.  I sometimes use cilantro instead of parsley.  I feel like it is very cleansing.

Here is how I make and store it:

Generally, I would think Aajonus would not recommend eliminating parasites, because of their benefits.
However, at one point, he said he craved raw onion, and ate an onion or part of one raw and it expelled a parasite.

I have also seen natural parasite remedies on the innerweb but I don't have any experience with them.

This is why you should not fear parasites, it is why Aajonus wanted one, and it is why you could want one too if you need one:

From Aajonus book "Recipe for Living Without Disease"

Parasites are the most feared of "pathogens".  Parasites, too, have a symbiotic relationship with our bodies.  They consume and digest tremendous quantities of degenerative tissue in short periods.  Joel Weinstock, a gastroenterologist who heads a research team at the university of Iowa stated that we are the first population to be without gut worms.  He asked six patients with very painful, intractable inflammatory bowel disease to drink the eggs of Trichurissius, a whipworm parasite normally found in the intestines of pigs.  Within two weeks, five of the six patients entered remission for up to five months.  The patients begged for more parasites.  Weinstock noted that intestinal problems are increasing in animals because they are kept too clean.  Pigs and monkeys raised in sterile pens and cages are getting diseased.

My comment:
After searching for "Joel Weinstock whipworm", I found the article below.
I learned that these worms also have 3 positive benefits to the immune system, and also contribute to a healthy gut microbiome.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3744107/

God made everything "good", like it says in Genesis.  When man removes or adds things because he thinks he knows better, it destroys God's creation and the natural balance.
I think general cleanliness is good, but being too clean can cause issues.
My dog eats cow poo when we go to the farm.  Why does he do that?
My farmer shipped cow poo to a guy in NYC because he wants to eat it.  Why would he do that?

I think he had a lot of toxins at that point and wanted it to eat them up quickly.

I've heard this idea of parasites migrating to the brain but I'm not so sure about how common that really is or how one would know that they did, or why they would go to the brain.  Sounds like fear mongering to me but I haven't looked into it.

I don't think there is a reason for parasites to be in a healthy person.  I think they inhabit unhealthy bodies and once the body becomes healthy they will leave.

I am not an expert tho

I eat raw coconut about one time a week - I take it apart and drink the water and eat the meat, usually with about a cup of pineapple.  Aajonus recommended the combo of pineapple and coconut cream for gallbladder stones and it has been helping me a lot for that.  Plus the coconut feels nourishing and hydrating to me.

Also, I'm very happy with this meat mincer - very high quality - I like to grind it right before I eat it most of the time....it's like cooking!

I felt that way at first but now I cut small pieces and bolt them down after a couple of bites like my dog does.  I learn a lot from my dog.  After all, we have basically the same digestive tract.  Now I enjoy eating like a dog and bolting it down.  It feels primal.  I think it is just programming - we were told to chew our food etc.  I still chew a couple of times and taste it and it's good.  No need to chew 30 times like before.

And thank you Derek for the idea!  This has completely changed my world.  I love how the meat ages in there and you can hold it for a very long time and it just gets better.

People need to let the animals choose the plants, they are much smarter.  Humans were not meant to do that task it seems.

Forgot to say, I also get all my meat from totally chemical free regenerative farms after I found out that even grass fed organic in stores has vaccines and dewormers and gmo feed, soy feed, whatever...I'm not supporting that anymore
