I see, and if you die from the infection does that mean it cured you of life? ;)
You don't think so what--do you think Tyler is wrong about his having gotten an infection?

I don't think AV's notions re disease are bogus.

Well, I have just had a few days getting a sore throat and runny nose. I got infected from a SAD-eating acquaintance. Goes to show that AV's notions re disease are bogus - admittedly, though, I have only had 2 such episodes, 1 flu and 1 sore throat, in the last 7 years or so. I had far more such episodes pre-rawpalaeodiet.

I don't think so. I haven't got sick for years. And I'm constantly around sick people.. I once shared a car ride with a person that had the swine flu and I didn't catch it.

I've actually been wondering whether I should start drinking a few organic glasses of wine a week.

I'm certainly going to look into it.

General Discussion / Re: Anyone else get a high feeling from raw meat?

I get this when ever I eat raw liver from wild fowl.

Especially from Geese and ducks.. I think they are very happy birds and some of their hormones are recycled in the liver.

Because it never fails me when I eat fresh liver, that I get very euphoric for about an hour.

I know him.. We used to discuss raw meat and bodybuilding a few years ago.

He´s very eccentric.

Sounds like hypocondria.. lots of talk about parasites make you think you have one.

I really really doubt that you'd have one burrowing in your brain already.

basically honorary degree means absolutely nothing, it is nothing but an elitist gift.  kind of like knighthood.

It can also mean the institution feels the person is WORTHY of their degree, with their current knowledge, with OUT studying at their institution.

Melty = fat

Chewy = connective tissue.

Both is fine to eat.

I'm guessing this is a hypothetical situation?

But I'd toss it for sure.

All of this trouble seems to emerge around raw milk.

Nobody needs raw milk. It's just a drug. And it's makes you BIG as fast as no other food or drug. Taste, addiction and the desire to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger are the only reasons why people become crazy about milk.

Even in USA you can eat raw meat everywehere WITHOUT any problem. Furthermore you get 100% grass-fed meat nearly everywhere.

Löwenherz

.. That is not true. That was your experience, fine. But don't state it as a fact. That is idiotic.

And "It makes you big like as no other food or drug".. I'm sorry but I laughed out loud there.

Sounds like your digestion is really taxed. Pores are usually a really good representative if something is off with your digestion. Clogged pores, clogged digestion.

Try reducing the amount of meat you are eating.. 1kg is a lot. I only eat about 500-600 grams and I train 2 hours a day.

Instead add lots of raw eggs, raw cream and raw vegetable juice and a few fruits.

Your brain is ALWAYS strongly affected by all kinds of food you eat...

Drink a six-pack of beer. Does it change your state of mind?

Löwenherz

Not the same thing by any means.

And the answer is still no. Alcohol suppresses your mind. Lowers brain function.

It doesn't actually cause any thoughts. Your thoughts are always a choice.

17
Grain fed meat makes me paranoid. ;-)

But I understand, how can you know how MY body works?

Löwenherz

Your paranoia makes you think that grainfed meat makes you paranoid.

Paranoia is a thought process and a state of mind, it's all in your head. It's not caused by any food.

Yes, but he'd have to become a professional hunter to have access to fresh meat daily.

Your best bet is to seek out a community of hunters and buy wild animals from them

I used to believe in candida.. Today, I really don't.

Perhaps it's real, but even then - it's a side effect of a problem, not the actual problem it self.

Paranoid? I'd rather call it being vary and vigilant.

He is very vigilant against any laws that may tread on his cause. As well as there were people in his organization that were being dishonest about the produce they were selling.

Even if he were paranoid, blaming it on grain fed meat and milk just shows a lack of fundamental knowledge on how the human body works.

General Discussion / Re: How long to see result of what you eat?
« on: February 14, 2011, 08:19:54 pm »
There is no answer. The effects can come instantly, they can come with in an hour or with in hours.

Most often I'd say you can feel it instantly. Consequences come with in 24 hours I'd say

As far as your skin problems go, all I can do is suggest eggs and cream.. Clears up my eczema and dermatitis like nothing else does. Also be careful not to overeat I think that can be a big cause.

General Discussion / Re: Slankers Pork
« on: February 13, 2011, 08:54:03 pm »
Anybody get slankers pastured pork? From what the site says no grains of any kind are used? Should I be concerned about trichinosis?  Also, is wild boar bacon that has been frozen for 3 months good to eat raw or useless in nutritional value?

It's by no means useless in nutritional value. But it's not as nutritious as raw and not as regenerative.
