I know many of us began on SAD.
Many have come from raw vegan.
Some have done fruitarian.
Some have done other diets.

I would like to solicit your experience regarding sexual performance, libido, and anything reproductive while on the various diets we have tried.

Hi,

I need to give more fat to the cancer sick, but due to his religious beliefs he can't eat pork or beef.  But he will eat butter and ghee.

I only have access to New Zealand butter from Anchor, grass fed but pasteurized.  Can you give your opinion on this kind of butter?  Or should we just use some other source of fat?

General Discussion / Can I make a living out of truly curing people?

Can I make a living out of truly curing people?

For those of you following my blogs I have a question and I need your advice.  In the exciting past few years my health knowledge exploded after I got sick, then I started helping people, then started writing websites, then I got healthier and healthier.  In short, just like many others who have made it through the rain, I’ve joined that club.  We are the healed and now healers.  I am a hobby healer.

Now initially I made my websites as a way of exercising my web development skills as I run a web development firm.  But I get more and more inquiries by email and even foreign visitors who take up a lot of my resources.  Is it time for me to go pro?  Is there at least good income to be had from truly curing people?

I have come to a fork in my life.  This truth in curing people is a fantastic talent / knowledge I have been blessed with.  But as a hobby healer it only costs me money, and I’m not a rich guy.  I have a family to feed, to raise, to send to school, etc. etc.  I have seen my first teacher, Manang Lorna, a true altruistic stay in healer, but she is dirt poor.  I don’t want to be that.  In contrast the rich MD quacks have a lot of money from the health disservice they do.  There is no justice in that.

On the other hand, altruistic healing has been my main thing, and it will stay with me and I can use it to cure my loved ones.  But if I spend time and effort in curing people like Manang Lorna, I will be dirt poor and my children will go hungry.  People gladly fork over 500,000 pesos to quacks and they suffer and die in return.  But what about to us who truly heal?  I’m willing to bet once people are cured, they won’t even bother to donate to you even 1/5 of that amount.

I just cured the right ear deafness of my mother in law’s maid and I don’t even get a THANK YOU.  How’s that? Manang Lorna sometimes does not even get paid for her efforts!

Do you see the dilemma folks?  Although there are some true healers amongst us, many do not bother to spread their blessings because it is a thankless, non-income work.  It seems truly curing people altruistically does not bring in the cash.  We need cash, not for myself, but for the children we have to feed, cloth and shelter.

I can tell you now that most of my loved ones do not appreciate what I do.  All they can see is there is no money.  The only thing they appreciate is money.

Of course the “system” has to change so that the good guys get economic benefit at least AT PAR with the bad guys.  So more good guys will be encouraged to come out of their closets and do people the good service of truly curing them.

Let me give you a concrete example.  I studied in the most prestigious university in my country.  I have taken top management jobs.  Me and my peers are top industry multinational executives.  I run my own business.  I’m a business man.  My time is very valuable.  How much do multinational executive managers make in the corporate world?  Do you see what I’m talking about now?

Why would I spend one month of my full time and attention attending to one or two patients every single day, thinking about them every single day, when I can get a cushy no care job or business instead that pays predictably and handsomely?  If people are not willing to pay for real healers, then I will just keep all this knowledge to myself as a hobby and turn away those who ask for my help.

Do you understand what I mean?  I have options.  My business was interrupted by my being sick so I learned about the truth about health and healing or face death.  Now that I am an accomplished healer, well and good enough for my own immediate family, should I just go back to business and earn my money? Do I turn to become a professional healer and see if I can feed my family via altruistic healing?

Did I ever tell you how time and attention consuming altruistic healing is?  I always talk about altruism.  The heal for business profitability twists the healing process always in the direction of money, not necessarily beneficial and usually detrimental to the patient.  Altruistic healing always picks the best options, without care for monetary kickbacks.

What if I spent 1 or 2 months with you and cured you of your western medical incurable disease?  Will what you donate allow me to send my kids to college?  Will you donate at least equivalent to the salaries of my peers in the multinational corporations?

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Hi,

The cancer sick I'm healing has religious beliefs against eating pork and beef.  He is Islamic.

My question is how can he get large amounts of raw high fat in his diet without pork and beef?

General Discussion / Eating Raw Animal Foods in public
« on: August 17, 2008, 05:36:32 pm »
Post your eating raw animal foods in public experiences here...

Looked at strangely while eating raw meat at a beef broth restaurant

Me and 2 friends were in a beef broth restaurant / bulaluhan this afternoon.  I had been experiencing stomach discomfort with cooked food so no way would I want to sabotage my health by agreeing to eat out.  So I went to the kitchen and asked the staff to find me bone marrow in their freezer and cut me up some meat.  We finally got enough bone marrow and I left it up to them to cut up some meat.  I explained to her that I can’t eat cooked meat as I get upset stomach by doing so.

My soup arrived.  And a plate of my raw beef marrow and some muscle arrived.  Now to taste the raw material if they had good beef.  By now I could taste and identify if raw beef was good or not.  I was not let down.  The raw material was good stuff.  I had a good meal.  Though my friends said that people were looking at me while I was eating my beef raw.  I said at least I looked normal as I sipped my soup.

So this little public display shows that raw beef eating is a rare thing.  One of my friends was embarrassed and told me that maybe it’s not a good idea for me to eat in public like that again, people might think I’m some kind of monster.

I told my indian friend that the raw beef I ate was safe for the cancer sick, and the cooked beef everybody eats is unsafe for the cancer sick,  and eating cooked beef is what the public thinks is civilized.

Health / Cancer Nutrition addressed via Raw Paleolithic Diet Super Meals
« on: August 10, 2008, 10:43:04 pm »
I am presently the "tour guide" of a 56 year old man suffering from what md's diagnose as tongue cancer.

Tongue Cancer nutrition to be addressed via Raw Paleolithic Diet super meals of carbohydrates protein and fat

Mr. M’s nutrition program is wonderful, tasty and full of choices.  His foods are all blended because of his swollen tongue which does not allow him to eat solid food.  Interestingly he can still taste things.

For his carbs and vitamins and minerals he has guavas, papayas, watermelon, melon and wheatgrass to choose from.

For his protein, I recommended whole fertilized eggs, also raw goat liver, and raw tuna.

For the fats, extra virgin olive oil, raw egg yolks, the raw tuna has omega 3 oils.

I am not privy anymore to his choice of food.  He and his wife sort that out.  Whatever appeals to him.  He says he is full and contented with the food he eats.

The rule is every meal he has raw fats.  It is fat that he needs to cleanse and nourish his body.  He is being given the best fats we know of today.

We are constrained with the religious needs of Mr. M in that they are devout Muslims so they require all meat to be Halal.  Good thing, there was no requirement for fish, so the tuna was bought at the farmer’s market.  For the goat liver, we have yet to find a supplier.  But their relative may be able to find one.

Mr. M is consuming raw eggs, but not much.  I would have thought he would have finished off the whole tray by now.  These are supreme fertilized eggs.  I tasted one before buying.  Absolutely fabulous.

No beef in our market is Halal so beef is out of the question.

Now I’m thinking maybe it is easier to get chicken.  Chickens are smaller, cheaper and the livers can also be used too.

I'm very interested in adding the use of a refractometer to measure the nutrition in the fruits and vegetables that we buy.  This is a tool they say that will quantitatively directly measure how nutritious your fruits and vegetables are by use of the BRIX scale.

I just bought a refractometer on ebay.  It should arrive next week.  Thought it would be fun to discuss our readings and experiences on this thread.  This is all new to me so the more experience people, please chime in.

This link goes to a wonderful page explaining this industrial technology and simple tool.

Hi,

Please share your fasting advice and experience.
I am aware that several of us here are into fasting from time to time as a tool for health.
Today, I'm just finishing a 3 day orange juice fast.

I know some are into water fasts.

What other fasts and how often do you fast or advice to fast?

General Discussion / Small Raw Fish should be Eaten Whole
« on: May 21, 2008, 07:28:22 am »
Lately I have been lucky at the nearby wet market to come across very fresh dilis (small, anchovy like fish). These small fish deserve to be eaten whole merely dipped for a few minutes in organic coconut vinegar or by adding some small slices of ginger and onions, a dish we call “kinilaw”.

Kinilaw na dilis“Kinilaw” means “kinain ng hilaw” or “eaten raw”.  It is chemically cooked, really.  You let the organic coconut vinegar, in our case, Lola Conching’s Vinegar turn the dilis fish from transparent to a little white.  Then you will know the fish is ready to eat.  This takes around 5 to 10 minutes.  Some people add lots of calamansi, a philippine citrus which acts like a lemon, but tastes better.

So at the meal I just photographed, our cook prepared a batch of dilis where she painstakingly removed the head and the bones so all you have left is meat.  And I asked for another batch which just used the whole fish.  I tasted both batches.  Guess which got scraped, finished off to the last fish?  The batch with the whole fish, eaten with bones and head!  I just found the tummy bitter to I remove the tummy intestines before I eat the fish though.

In my view, the batch without the head and the fish bones taste too acidic.  It’s like I can’t eat more than a few bites of them.  The dilis fish without the head and bones seems unbalanced.  But with the fish head and the bones, it had just the right crunch, and I could eat a lot of it, yummy.

My mother in law says it is because of the calcium in the bones.  I also think it could be that much fish fat and bones are also in the head.  Maybe this is what Dr. Hulda Clark is saying when Weston Price observed the healthy tribes living beside the sea had almost perfect teeth because of eating a lot of organic calcium from fish.  This is how you eat calcium from the fish, eat small fish whole!  What a great discovery.

General Discussion / Share your cost saving tips regarding FOOD
« on: May 06, 2008, 09:26:23 pm »
Somehow, some way we all may finally stumble on the optimum nutrition for our bodies.
The problem it seems is that the ideal diet seems to be very expensive.
In my case, raw organic / wild / tree ripened fruits and raw organic / fresh cuts of of raw animal foods, including fertilized chicken eggs would be great, but I've been noticing the expense is quite enormous.

I hope this thread becomes a depository of cost saving tips and techniques.  Share the wealth.

Wai Dieters / Count me in on this Wai Diet thing...
« on: May 05, 2008, 06:31:45 pm »
I live in the Philippines and we have so many many lovely fruits.
Fruits rock much better than veggies.
I used to do exclusive wai for 2 months, but not the eating schedule.
Call me lazy.  I just want a few meals a day.
I added raw beef and cooked pork because I needed variety, it was getting pretty boring just limited to raw egg yolks and raw fish.

Hello everyone,

I live in Manila, Philippines and I'm a newbie in the Raw Paleolithic scene, just beginning January 2008 on the Wai Diet.  A raw paleolithic diet with mostly fruits and some raw egg yolks and some raw fish.

I've gone raw vegan for 2 months.  And I've gone raw fruitarian for 2 months.  I find raw paleolithic a sustainable, satisfying diet and I'm on my 5th month.

I'm still learning the ropes.

I'm a web developer, I own a web development firm called Filipino Web Services Inc.

I'm a hobby healer and I got into these diets because of hobby healing.  I got into hobby healing because I got sick and I had to save myself, then I had to save a lot more people.  I use whatever works.  Raw vegan works sometimes, raw fruitarian works for wrecked digestive systems, raw paleolithic works when the digestive system is working.  What I do find in common among all 3 diets is the requirement of large amounts of fat.  Raw vegan and raw fruitarian is unsustainable without a lot of fat consumption.

I have quite a number of blogs and websites because I can make them at will and I need the practice for my customers.

I'll reply here with some of my other interests.
