This lunch I had a number of things in 1 plate:

Some raw beef bone marrow
One raw goat kidney
Two raw goat testicles.

All were bought yesterday I put in the refrigerator, never frozen.

I capped my lunch with some graviola / guyabano fruit.

Everything tasted great this lunch, no condiments.

I got the raw liver pate recipe from Aajonus' book.
Blender liver and a bulb of red onion together.
I add some cayenne to taste.

The past week I think I ate too much animal food and not enough fat.  Seems fish isn't fat enough.  Yesterday I think I had too much raw liver pate and then added raw duck breast for dinner.

So today Monday I did a no animal food day.

I had a total of 3 coconuts with lots o coconut meat for fat.
had 2 cucumbers with a dip made of some vinegar, honey, extra virgin olive oil
3 guavas
some graviola
and half a fatty durian all to myself (which I hid from the kids... its mine... its mine...)
Dinner I had sea weed and some vinegar and garlic

You have no idea - do you feed them goat muscle meat or other tough meat?

I do not know what tough meat you are talking about.  The goat muscle meat I buy is not tough at all.  They would rather eat goat kidneys though.  And my wife agrees with raw fish.

You always mention how wonderfull every thing works - you don't exercise, you eat a lot of fruit (what about insulin) and you think humans are always needing to detox with all kinds of gunk. Sorry, but it can get extreme - too much selfconfidence!

Maybe the reason I can eat a lot of fruit is because in the Philippines fruit is abundant, local, organic / wild.

I do not think humans always need to detox with all kinds of gunk.  If you are referring to www.curemanual.com the detox protocols serve to clean totally messed up people like myself 3 years ago, or my brother just last year, or any of those people I helped cure because they were totally ignorant and polluted to begin with.

Extreme with self confidence?  Hmmm... I was at my worst in 2005 when I came down with a debilitating eczema, I had amalgams, I came from a SAD diet, in my younger years I was damaged by roaccutane and other steroid drugs, my father used to melt lead in our back yard and we stocked thousands of smelly brand new tires in our house and I managed gas stations with all those gasoline fumes... I got sick and turned my life around... so I got better 2006, better 2007, better 2008... I'm glad I found aajonus then Geoff on allexperts... and things are going so well...up and up and up, I'm just happy! :)

So I help cure my family and friends from diseases... not all of them though... my grandma is still weak.

I wish I could share with everyone how happy and thankful I am to be so much healthier... running around with the kids is my exercise... I'm all pooped this evening.

I can not and do not boast about diet, health or what ever; I can do my best... and not believe every word others say - words can be used to suit "the situation" one is in.

Nicola

I don't feel like I'm boasting.  I'm just sharing my luck with everyone.  Just spreading the good news.  It all started when we conquered infertility, I thought that I must give back to the community by helping others.

Of course you must cherry pick the things you need for your own personal experience.  Before Geoff and before Aajonus, my teacher was Barefoot Herbalist MH, his teachings were great, but raw fruitarian wasn't working for me... so I moved on to Wai Diet... which led to RPD. (I'm omnivore, not zero carb, I think I'm high fat, high carb.  I tried cooked meat paleo diet, but I found results inferior to raw paleo diet.)

Seems you might be in a situation right now?  How can we help?

and if you had 3 children (say 3, 4 and 6 years); would you give them tough raw meat? What would you do when they get runny stools - or would that not happen? I am just trying to make a picture of what goes on in others.

I have those children and when my wife is not around I give them raw meat because raw meat is very, very, very much tender.  It is when we cook the meat when it becomes hard.  If we make soup out of beef meat, we have to bring in the pressure cooker to tenderize it.  My children 3, 5 and 7 all agree that raw meat is softer, easier on their chewing than cooked meat.

My kids never get runny stools.

My personal experience with raw fruitarian is it is the fastest and easiest bowel moving experience I have ever had.

This is what the author of Fiber Menace has to say about your question regarding fruits and fiber:

Quote
http://www.fibermenace.com/fibermenace/fm_transcript.html

Rest assured, I am not on a crusade to kill off all traces of fiber in favor of another extreme. In fact, the very first chapter of Fiber Menace opens with the following sentence [link]:

“If you consume minor quantities of fiber from natural, unprocessed food, there isn't anything wrong with it…”

My beef, as I said, is with too much processed fiber and the resulting digestive, metabolic, and cardiovascular disorders.

So if anyone tells you, that my book or my recommendations are extreme or not mainstream, it's a lie...

And consider this undeniable fact: The people of Japan enjoy the highest longevity in the world. And guess what? The traditional Japanese diet - based around fish, sea food, and white rice - is practically fiber-free…

My teacher barefoot herbalist mh warns against fiber from vegetables; and when he teaches orange juice fasting he makes it clear you get rid of the fiber, just keep the juice.  Aajonus Vonderplanitz says juice your vegetables, discard the fiber.  David Wolfe suggests juicing vegetables.

We know in raw paleo teachings that it is FAT that helps move our bowels.  I read that somewhere, I just can't seem to remember the link.

The colonoscopy was ordered by my doctor.  It is apparently recommend for anyone over 50 and he was also very concerned that my diet of raw red meat would spell real trouble.  Both my doctor and the Gastro Specialist that performed the procedure admonished me that it was vitally important to colon health to eat lots of fiber in the form of whole grains, fresh fruits, and vegetables etc. and to eat little red meat.  With my diet of raw red meat I was just asking for colon cancer.

They performed the procedure and when I woke up they said they couldn't believe how healthy my colon was.  They told my wife that my colon was amazingly healthy and more representative of someone in their 20s. They further stated that there was little chance that I would ever get colon cancer and they were recommending to my doctor that it would not be necessary to ever repeat this procedure.  Amazing.

Hi Lex,

I think your doctor needs to update his education by reading this book: FIBER MENACE (The fiber myth debunked)

http://tinyurl.com/fibermenace

WHAT IS SO MENACING ABOUT FIBER?

You probably believe fiber prevents colon and breast cancer, lowers cholesterol, reduces the risk of heart disease, regulates blood sugar, wards off diabetes, curbs the appetite, induces weight loss, cleanses the colon, arrests diarrhea, and unplugs constipation. Tragically, none of this is true!

In fact, fiber-rich foods and fiber supplements are either the primary cause of most of these conditions, or major contributors. Please watch my investigative report (or read the transcript) to learn the truth. If you consume fiber for any health reasons, the next 14 minutes will turn your life and health around...

Wild Norwegian Salmon... only in my dreams.  We usually get farmed Norwegian salmon in our market.  But then they say there are PCBs, coloring and bad feeds in them.

I always do the taste test.  If it tastes good and fresh, I eat it.

Is there an online norwegian store I can surf to and order wild norwegian salmon sent by courier?

When is Aajonus Vonderplanitz going to be on?

I was excited when someone announced in our forum www.rawpaleoforum.com that Aajonus Vonderplanitz was going to be on your radio show.

I saw your teaser.

Then it was pulled, it didn't push through.

What happened?

When are you rescheduling his appearance?

I hoped to hear him on your show. I'm both a Barefoot fan and an Aajonus fan!

Patrick answered:

Quote
yes, it was interesting. Two times running it just did not happen. First time the phone where he was staying did not ring unbeknown to both parties, in the guest house where he was staying.

And, the rescheduled interview, he was not at he number I called as agreed. So, I am just hanging on this for a bit, and see where the energy takes it.

I think he will be an interesting chat, especially with a resurgence in interest in animal protein I feel is in our future.

p

Somebody please call Aajonus and make this happen!

May I use your words? I concluded ALL MEATS I got in my area sucks really bad...

That is it, I just have to choose the lesser of evils...

Does Cooked Paleo Diet make the meat any better?

Try raw ocean fish / sea food.  Try raw organic / fertilized eggs.

okay here's mine... it's a bit short but maybe I'll make a longer one in the future. I linked it to here and rawpaleo.com so that's the main thing.

Awesome.
It would be more impressive if you ate with your shirt off showing your six pack abs.

Just our common native Philippine rooster.

I can volunteer myself and my children eating raw meat.
I'm a fair skinned Filipino.
What kind of reactions would that get?

7468
I lol'd.

I have a question on this. Humans are made to be long-distance, endurance runners to bring down faster, but short-distance prey generally right? At least that's my understanding.

What is it about marathon running that's causing so much damage? I mean they're causing significant injury to their bodies. Is this something that will happen with anyone who runs?

I don't quite know how to phrase my question, hopefully that gets it across.

I do not believe in that endurance running assumption.  I would believe long walking treks, but not running.

I believe since humans are smart... that is our thing... they would set up traps easily for animals.  Much like today, pit traps, noose traps, use bait... it is smarts that matter, not endurance running.  Trapping prey is easy... very easy... you make a couple of traps and just inspect the traps from time to time.  This will explain for the leisure time enjoyed by Paleo people and why humans love to play.

The movie 10,000 BC showed one way how to catch a wooly mammoth.

Very simple, very easy, a big enough child can do it.

You could always experiment, eating just pork for a couple of weeks or longer and then switching to beef and seeing which you enjoy more and feel healthier with.

I concur.  I did this experiment myself.  I concluded the pork I got in my area sucks really bad.  I felt really bad.  Beef in my area is good.

7471
That kind of cracks me up that they're collecting honey with burning sticks and getting text messages at the same time. Not meant as any offense, I actually think the melding of technology with old school is really cool and would like to do it in the future myself when I get some land to collect food from.

Cell phones are cheap today, even tribes people can afford them.  The cell phone signals are strong, they can send text messages while hunting in the forest.  The village immediately knows when a catch has been made.  This is very recent.  Just within the past year.

Here is a picture of the smoking instrument they use.

Marathoners don't have the body chicks love.
I'd rather get into a sport that will build a body that chicks love.

Maybe that's why I'm eating raw animal food, so I can get away with minimal exercise... wow, I'm lazy.

From your description, beef, lamb and goat sound good.  Most probably fed grass.

I would go and investigate where the live animals are raised, how they are slaughtered, and how they are handled at the market.

For example, in my country, I have personally witnessed how the pork and beef industry work, how the slaughterhouses work, and how the butchers do their trade.  I know the scheduled time of slaughter of beef and pork slaughter is at 12 midnight and the carcass gets to market at 3 to 4am.  I usually purchase around 7 to 8am.

You might also look into fruit and vegetables.

The shortcut way is to find people who are already in the "organic" mindset and get their contacts and connections so they can guide you.
