We really should all switch to visiting only farmers' markets. Admittedly, in Austria, the supermarkets are much better, giving a wide variety of foods such as raw wild game, some of which are unprocessed.

it is highly unlikely to be correct, imo, since language evolved LONG before even neolithic times. It's sad that the public swallow poor science like Wrangham's nonsense and this sort of thing yet there are multitudes of scientific studies focusing on the harmful effects of cooked foods, and yet the nutritionists and other crooks just blithely dismiss any evidence against lightly-cooked foods and pretend they are not sufficiently toxic to humans.

Health is not only about diet but also other aspects such as where one lives...... However, given that the 2 main toxic components of car-exhaust fumes are also 2 of the 5 heat-derived toxins created by cooking, I imagine we RVAFers are less affected by air-pollution since we have less of a toxin-load and are better able to detox the smaller amounts of toxins that we do get.
