i figure this post my help someone.. Ive been eating raw for 3 weeks now and i feel great.. my face is almost clear.. i dont even need much sleep to feel good.. my mood is 100% better.. Im also working out and i actually im now 174lbs.. my original weight was 167lbs.. i thought i would lose weight but i didnt lose any weight when i moved to high fat.. heres what im doing...

Basically, i wake up, take some probiotics before meal
2hr later - 12 egg yolks(fertile eggs), mixed with honey, raw liver powder, lemon
few hrs later - grassfed steak(either new york or ribeye), with around 600-800 calories worth of backfat
few hrs later - 100g carbs(sweet potato)
Later another grassfed steak with backfat/marrow
b4 bed - 12 egg yolks again(the same mixture)

Out of this, i know the honey might not be ideal, and the sweet potato might not be ideal either.. But i found out i do better with little carbs.. I do weightlift, and instead of doing carbo loading or any of that, i just eat around 100g of carbs daily and my lifts have gone up, and my weight is going up, while my waist is going down...

SO if anyone is strugging with what to eat, just eat a lot of raw meat with good fat(i order fat from northstarbison), and throw in some carbs to make u feel better.. I was always dizzy without the carbs, so i figured id take some... taking the carbs also spares the protein/muscle, and i know my muscle gain has to do 100% with the carbs..

Ive done zero carb before and i kept losing weight and couldnt even gain 1lb in 2 weeks, but throw in some good carbs and there ya go... ALso im not drinking soda or anything, i picked sweet potatoes because it takes me 20mins to lightly cook them in the pan, plus its all glucose.. im not a big fan of fructose..

i got some bison backfat..tastes amazing..

if im correct, 1lb of it is around 4000 calories???

i just ate 0.5lbs..lol

i usually bring my meat/marrow out of the fridge and leave it on the counter for a few hours, but there are always flies trying to get to it... how do i prevent this?

and is there a quicker way to bring it to room temperature.. sometimes im hungry and i know i gotta wait a few hours before i can eat :(

i know we are supposed to eat low carb.. but im body building and im trying to get like 200-300 calories/day from carbs to help me gain weight.. are fruits like banana a goood source? or should i use raw honey..

ok so i found a store that sells grassfed beef from uruguay..

ive been buying from wholefoods.

the taste/color is completely different.. the wholefoods store meat is bright red/pink, while this one is darker, and it tastes different too...

so im wondering if there are any dangers of eating meat from uruguay

i was going to do raw cream but i searched here and many ppl dont do well with dairy, so i wont even bother

any of you drink raw cream? i just got a small bottle.. almost 1000 calories, all from fat and i can chug it down in 20secs.. whats the downside of this? what am i missing?

my meat comes wrapped in plastic... should i open and leave it open in a glass container in the fridge? or is it better sealed?

so lets say i have a strip steak i bought from store.. its cold when i get it, so i store it in the fridge..

then i bring it out to the counter to get warmer.. how many hours can it stay out without spoiling?

can i basically leave meat out on the counter all day then eat it at night? i find room temperature meat tastes a lot better..

im going on a flight today for like 6hrs.. then i'll be gone all weekend in a different state visiting family..

i wont have access to my raw grass fed beef, etc, but everyone will FREAK if i even taste raw beef

so im curious what some of you do/bring along with you when you travel..

im thinking i can feast on lots of sardines/nuts while im there.. its no substitute but its better than junk food??

where do you guys buy non refrigerated pasture raised eggs?

i can buy pasture eggs at whole foods but they are in the fridge..does refrigeration mess it up?

so i finally got my marrow order from northstarbison.. i scooped em out, they are kinda solid but chewable.. how do you guys eat them??

it has no taste and the consistency is so weird i have to chase it with water.. am i missing something here

i dont feel bloated or anything but i feel kinda weak.. my skin is clearing up yeah but i feel kinda tired/lethargic.. is this normal?

so i ordered some marrow, they said its about 4oz of marrow in each 1lb bone..

from my calculation, 4oz = 113 grams = ~1000 calories of fat..

is this correct? 1lb of marrow with 4oz has about 1000 calories of fat?

drinking raw egg yolks are a great way to get calories/fat

im using only pasture raised eggs... is there an upper limit to these many eggs?

right now im probably eating 12 egg yolks a day.. wondering if anyone else is eating this much..? im thinking of even upping it to 24/day, 12Xbreakfast, 12Xdinner

that would be like 500+ calories of fat so it'll help me out a lot in my much needed fat

OK so ive switched to completely raw high fat/protein & low carb diet.

i just had a raw grass fed bison heart.. yummy..

I have a bunch of grass fed bison meat but they all look lean, no fat.. im trying to get at least 65% calories from fat..

Right now im eating an avocado with each meal.. plus i eat maybe 12 raw egg yolks a day... id like to avoid oils for fat..

some of you are saying the spleen/suet? what is that and where the heck do you buy that from? i dont see it online and my local health food store doesnt have spleen..

so you guys that are getting 60%+ calories from fat, how do you do it? please share..
