i thought about this today because i had left an egg yolk, sitting it its half shell, for a few days and when i ate it today it was especially delicious.  it had a gummy/chewy crust on it:)  i know that i had a chicken lay a squishy egg where the shell wasnt totally calified, i left it on top of the coop, it dried out a bit in 100 degree sunshine and then got rained on and dried again and i ate it and it was super chewy.......i wonder if i just did a whole tray of sundried yolks if i would die.........
