So, now we have people admitting that Homo Erectus had language and sailed around the world in boats. Yet, in past decades, Homo Erectus was always portrayed as just being some stupid apeman. The point being that what makes us sentient  was already in evidence millions of years ago, not just 60,000 BC or 4004 BC   or whatever nonsense figures.

That seems to be the conclusion I'm reaching - that man is much older than previously thought.
