It's fruit. That's the problem.  ;)

Yes. Fruit is clearly the problem. -\ It's been a part of our diet way longer then meat has.

Durian is certainly a unique fruit with a lot of protein and maybe other nutriments and overall nutriment density not found in other fruits and it would be of great interest to know if man can indeed survive on it's monodiet over a prolonged period of many years. A few months is certainly OK. As every fruit it's seasonal and no wild animal or any of our paleo ancestors could probably eat this fruit the whole year round.

My experience with it is that I systematically tend to overeat it because it tastes so great. This makes me sleepy as a snake after a monthly meal.

By the way DR's 3000 to 8000 cal a day of fruit and greens seems crazy. I doubt that he has done or can do this over a prolonged period and most of this food is probably not properly digested.

He's a long-distance athlete. He trains all day so so he can eat that much with out problems.

I sure hope you're right Paleodonk.  If it is connective tissue, when we eat it can the body use it?  if we throw it away are we missing out on any protein??

My guess is that connective tissue is not utilized and is the bulk of our feces

I personally don't think that you can regrow hair. But I definitely think you can stop hairloss in it's tracks with cleansing and RPD.

I did the arise and shine protocol in thailand.
I fasted for 14 days. It fixed a lot of my issues. I got out INSANE amounts if mucoid placque. It was staggering. I wish I had pictures. I've also done liver cleansing twice, I got some stones out the first time and felt really good the day after. The second time I got nothing out.

Like I said I'd suggest the arise and and shine protocol. It clears your body of mucoid placque (I can't confirm whether it's a real phenomena or if it's just the psyllium husk. I personally believe it is real, but in any case the fast was very successful).

If I were you I'd only start out with a weeks worth of fasting. It took me like 3 months to fully recover from the 14 days. I'm going to do a 5-7 day fast now again real soon.

Oh yeah and you have to do some sort of cleanse. I can't stress that enough. I've done just plain water fasts before and it had very little effect. (Buy this http://www.ariseandshine.com/cleanse14.aspx )

If I were in your shoes I'd eat only greens and fast for a few days. It has never failed to fix my stomach.

Man has transferred their insane fear of death over to animals. Truth is though, animals don't live in fear of death.

Hi I

I caught up with an old friend recently who was a severe IBS sufferer. We lost contact but the last time we were hanging out he got so skinny due to the IBS that his lung collapsed and was hospitalised.

Now five years later I ended up at his 'World Cup Party'  he's married now to a cool chick, owns 3 houses, eats KFC and is really happy. All IBS free. He tells me it's because he stopped caring about what people thought and also stop stressing about IBS.

Your cure from diet his from finding peace. Interesting.
That's what I was hoping for, and I think I've found a very small level of certain fruits that I can handle reasonably well, but fruit still gives me problems nearly a year after starting VLC. Are you able to eat large quantities of fruit without problems?

Yes. I can eat massive amounts of fruit with out any problems what so ever.

Interesting Wodgina. A guy I know who had pretty bad skin lesions and IBS told me the same thing. He said he just made sure he didn't over eat and stopped worrying about it. He said less stress was key.

Sealed meat.. will cause you problems.

I eat 4 month old meat the other day. It was an absoloute bacterial sludge. But it was fine due to being aired out right.

That chicken had the most honorable death possible.

In the hands of the most advanced predator on this spinning rock.

To claim otherwise is not having insight into reality.

There's nothing wrong with that video it's beautiful in every way.

Haha, lol you watch too many movies

Go eat some carrots.

Carrots? Didn't you just stop being a fruitarian a few weeks ago?

I've hunted and raised animals since I was a boy, whilst you pretend to be an "apex predator" by going out and picking up some supermarket meat.

But thank you for proving my point.

Your relationship with food is broken and very naive. You lack proximity with animals and there for you severely lack respect.

346
Yeah, I noticed that as well. Swimming is amazing for that. Have you ever tried tan tien? Its when you inhale as much as possible sticking your stomach out, then exhaling all the air and doing it again. It's an exercise people use to practice correct breathing as many people breath through their necks or with their chests, but that is inefficient. We are supposed to breath with our stomachs when we inhale to get all the air in. I think the Chinese invented it to decrease stress, look it up.

No I haven't, thanks for the tip

Honestly? This guy is fool and that video is disgraceful. And all of you who think that was 'cool' should be embarassed.

Sitting in the dark in some silly schoolboy uniform, with some stupid girl sniggering. I just see a disrespectful little boy begging for attention by playing a tough guy.

That chicken was killed for all the wrong reasons.

I think oxygen is incredibly underrated.

I've been doing a lot of intense running outside lately and I've noticed a big change.

I do have to force myself to eat more than my body signals for, or I lose too much weight--and I already have what some people would consider an "emaciated" body (though that's largely because I was born very thin and with fine bones and very little muscle tissue). I also have to drink more than my body calls for to minimize dehydration (and even doing so I'm still chronically slightly dehydrated). The Instincto instincts idea doesn't work for me--probably due to my body being messed up in some way. I know this is hard for people who have perfect instincts to understand, but I hope they will try to understand that not everyone has perfect instincts--even many months after adopting a RPD.

I think the key lesson to bear in mind, once again, is to speak for one's own experience, rather than for everyone.

Sounds like you have poor nutrient absorption

I would have no problem eating dog meat.

In fact most of the animals I eat can be very fun and nice pets.
