How should I spread my meals throughout the day (when to take a shake, when to eat whole foods, when to take more carbs)?

I usually eat carbs at least 2 hours before, and protein within an hour later on,
 if that's relevant.
I'm 22, not overweight, and besides the foregoing workout sessions, I don't get much exercise at all.

Awesome workout , sounds great.
dips, knee and leg raises in my opinion are best workout .
It is really great for ribs and stomach.

You should take both bench press & arms press with your dumbbells.
Generally take exercise of each part of your body with dumbbell until the muscle of that part get little pain.
Best it that you see any chart of exercises with dumbbell from any book or gym.
