RAW PUPPIES
« on: March 10, 2009, 11:47:20 am »
Beautiful Golden Retriever puppies for adoption!
Their parents eat a raw diet and they are not vaccinated or medicated.
I am located in Malibu Canyon outside Los Angeles...and I will be dropping some pups off in Santa Cruz.  They will be ready around April 20th.

They must be tender.  How do they affect the hormones (male, female, adrenal)?

You mean other raw diet or BARF  forums, surely? I  didn't see any threads being started in the other forums(unless deleting them  means they're not registered as having been made in the first place).

Aside from the over-posting issue, I'm not against people posting about raw-related subjects like this as long as such posts are put in the off-topic forum.

*This reminds me. While I'm not at all fond of the usual breeds people have(usually small dogs like chihuahuas or attack dogs like dobermans or "cuddly" dogs like labradors and retrievers, I really need to get hold of a couple of Alaskan Malamutes, some day. They are the one type of dog I've met with real intelligence and a great personality. Trouble is that I live in a city, and one needs a proper garden and access to a nearby park.

Mmm raw puppies  >D

Malamutes sound very much like Siberians in temperament, although I've never met one. We had a Siberian, and she was amazing. I've never met a dog that intelligent; she seemed practically human at times.

She posted on all the forums on this site. Exactly the same message. There's a lot of money in selling puppies.

I wouldn't mind having a dog if I was a farmer or something but anything else seems a little weird to me. Especially when childless couples treat their dogs/cats like kids! or sort of like it's training before having real kids..nearly as weird as eating raw meat!

True, and then there's the whole business of castrating/spaying them so as to render them eternal children.  Mind you, most of the Alaskan Malamute-owners I know of, tend, out of necessity, to treat the dog as a beast of burden as well as a family friend, so they get the dog to carry bags with straps when going out etc.Alaskan Malamutes were bred, originally, as sled-dogs so need to do such heavy exercise on a regular basis. If they're not indulging in such activity frequently, they tend to express their frustration by tearing the owners' house apart.
