Support Health via conversation/chat
« on: February 24, 2014, 12:11:16 pm »
I like to advise people who wish to support their community that are suffering from various health problem to adopt group chat. This helped me a lot during my daughter's meningitis event. There are many good chat rooms platform out there, I tested those RumbleTalk, Xcat, FlashChat.
All are good option.

Ok, since there are not too many replies I would like to share with you the tests I have.
In general: I have meningitis support forum for kids and their parents. Since I looked a lot for decent group support chatroom for community chat, including the wordpress default one (which was really minimal and created a huge load on my hosting server).

I choose the RumbleTalk for my organization. The main benefit for me was the mobile chat orientation.

During my 7 years of running this activity, we used to have Java based chat room, but many had problems to connect as they need java installed (which mean less and less people this days).

We also tried flash chatrooms, but again it is not that friendly for mobiles.

So overall, I think the options are not that great with respect to users integration, but RumbleTalk is a decent choice (my 2 cents opinion).

Hi,

I went with Rumbletalk after all! I discovered that it is the best html chat room application for me.

Why I decided for Rumbletalk?

1. I can deal with my own particular configuration as much as I need

2. I can post youtube recordings, outlines, pictures, documents of all kind

3. I can utilize it on my page, and my website also

4. It works truly pleasant on telephones and my ipad

5. It is protected application not at all like other visit applications which could be hacked really simple

6. With removing talk logs I can build SEO as well(offered just by Rumbletalk)

7. Guests like it a considerable measure also!

I also like it a lot because it is possible to create a multiple chat rooms

Worth using it!

No offense but I can't figure out if you're the most persistent spammer I have ever seen (literally 2 years between first & last posts) or someone grossly neglected with a response. Either way I appreciate the tenacity. :)

I set up something, maybe Tinychat, years ago but it never took off. I don't know about others but I interact enough via posts on here. Some forums are more social boards but much of our posts here stay on topic.
