Given that socialism/libtardism has now destroyed the (formerly)richest economy in South America, we should pay attention. For example, Austria is a corrupt state with heavy Socialist influences, and we now have ever-rising food-prices, among other things. For example, I have to buy all my clothes and shoes from Germany as Austrian prices for clothes are c. 2-4 times as expensive.

Venezuela is failing both because of mismanagement AND low oil prices. All the petrostates are in recession right now.

There is nothing to study.  Socialism/Populism is good until it runs out of money.  And it always does.  And high oil prices won't help.  It might delay the inevitable but it all ends the same.

China may keep it afloat for a while just because it poured lots of money into it.  But when it all crumbles China will have no choice but to write off their losses.  And we'll see US coming in and picking up the pieces.  So much for Bolivarian revolution.

I would not call them all that  "desperate", though. They appear to be stealing cigarettes and looting cash-registers, not merely concerned with food. Reminds me of the crazy Libtards in the media who claimed that the London rioters in 2011 were just "frustrated victims"  l)   who were merely starving, despite the latter happily killing people and robbing stores of TVs and other electrical goods.

All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others... Well, no doubt it will be our turn eventually.
