I am now experimenting with Low-level near-infrared devices. Currently, I am  using the Vielight Neuro Alpha and Gamma devices. These are far too expensive to recommend, and it's early days as to whether they really work or not.

I have also bought this Iris software which purports to make looking at your pc more palaeoish-friendly:-

Iris seems rather cheap, and one can try out some features free, I believe.
