I will admit that RVAFers have less to worry about as regards air-pollution, as the  2 key toxic components of air-pollution, HCAs and PAHs, also happen to be major components of the toxins derived from cooking foods. So, unless you live near Beijing, Mexico-City or similiar air-pollution disasters, it is not the end of the world. I still plan, though, to retire to the Alps.
