I have noticed that eggs from German supermarkets no longer taste as good as they used to. This seems to be the case even with expensive organic, free-range eggs.
Unfortunately, I have also tried eggs from some local small farms and hobby keepers, but so far I have not found the quality and taste I am looking for.
So I would really appreciate your recommendations:
Where can I buy genuinely good-quality, great-tasting eggs in Germany?
I would also be interested in:
- Eggs from small or organic farms
- Duck eggs or quail eggs
- Farms elsewhere in the EU, if they are willing to ship eggs to Germany by post
I am mainly looking for **excellent taste and quality**, rather than simply the cheapest option.
If you have personally tried a farm or producer and can recommend their eggs, I would be very grateful for your suggestions. Thank you!
