Greetings from Germay
« on: September 10, 2009, 07:04:30 pm »
I'm Inger, a 33 years old Norwegian girl living in Hamburg, Germany. My English is not the best, and I hope you forgive me for that.

I enjoy so much reading here! I'm so happy to find one Forum that is not Vegan, because almost all Rawfood-forums are..  :(
I'm almost raw 3 years, love it, and eat a lot of raw meat and fish etc. Feel I need it. I eat a lot of fruits too, and nuts sometimes and Greens. Actually I eat everything.. ;D
I don't have a lot of time being online, I rather like to go out in nature ;).

With love,
Inger

Welcome to the forum! It's about time we had more members from the German and Scandinavian regions(I'm half-Austrian myself). I note there are a  few forums devoted to raw-animal-and-vegetable diets in French, Polish and even Italian. There must  be numerous Instincto/Rohkost forums in German  as well, but, admittedly, most(but not all) will be raw vegan, I'm sure.

Here is one, not vegan at all : http://www.instincto.net/Wersindwir.aspx

Hi :)

Schön das Du Deutsch sprichst, Kyle! ;D

I tried to log into the Instincto-forum long ago but it did not work, I even paid a little(is not for free, but only few euros). So it seemed be really difficult. Sad.

Nice to meet you ;D.

Is this a "man-dominated" forum? It did not hurt me ;) just wondered..

Haha, ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch. Maybe I can learn some more from you.

There are twice as many men as women here, it used to be much more male dominated.

Hi Inger,  I am sure there are a lot of potential raw meat eating women out there... those who will eventually crash doing raw vegan.   ;)

Actually, there are plenty of women in the RVAF world, such as in the Primal Diet. Unfortunately, our forum didn't ask people for most of the first year to specify their gender when registering on this website, so there are actually more female members than the statistics show.

I'm actually in London, but I definetly plan on visiting Germany soon! Hamburg is somewhere I'd want to visit...
So is it easy to get organic/grassfed meat there? From what I learnt in German classes, organic food seems to be widely available there, but is there any emphasis on grassfed organic?

Wild meet is available always in autumn/winter, no problem. But other times I have to buy Organic- or just frozen wild. Fisch you can always find fresh, wild/organic.
Quite nice, I think! :)
