Last question before I go 100% raw paleo
« on: February 01, 2010, 04:26:11 pm »
Hi
I want to finally go 100% raw paleo only prob is i have tennis try outs in about a month. How can I absolutely minimize the bad effects that your body goes through when it is detoxing? I am going to be constantly training this month so i really can't start having negative effects when i switch over, when i went 100% raw vegan I very easily got tired when exercising and sometimes even nautious but after two weeks this went away (my point being that i need those two weeks for training). Any and all tips will be aprecciated.
thanks

Depends where you are coming from.

What diet are you on right now?

Which version of raw paleo are you thinking of?
Specifically, what kind of daily foods are you thinking of you can do?

Have you done any detoxes prior like colon cleanses and liver flushes?

If you don't want sudden changes, you might consider starting partially-raw and working gradually towards all-raw. Otherwise, you'll have to brace for the usual initial detox from cooked-diets.
