Do you use silverware?
« on: May 31, 2010, 11:24:32 am »
I just realized how savage I must look if someone were to see me eating a meal. I usually eat in my car either driving somewhere or parked on my breaks. I just slice off a large chunk and rip at it with my teeth. I don't think I've ever used a fork.
Give it to us raw, and wriggling. You keep nasty chips.

Plastic bag of gound marrow/suet/meat. Sits in my car all day and eat when driving. Sometimes the mixture ferments in the warm car. Tastes divine   :)

Yes I do.
I use fork and scissors for beef.

I use a knife to sashimi fish and chopsticks to eat them.

I use a meat-knife to cut my muscle-meats sometimes. I use my teeth for things like raw wild hare carcasses as they have meats which a knife can't easily reach/sever. Other than a standard plate and an oyster-knife(and very occasionally a hammer) I don't use anything else.

I use a knife.  No fork or spoon.

Too often we get caught up trying to get to the end. What is most important however is to discover the beginning. We don’t solve problems or start to heal unless we can be willing, be kind, laugh a little and commit to seeking until we find. If we can, we’ll get started. I’ll meet you at the beginning!

I use a fork and knife for most meals. If I'm eating ground meat I'll just use my fingers.

No need to swear djr... 'I use a knife' would have been adequate, without the profanity..

I don't use any any cutlery, ever...

I use scissors, I can't even handle the slowness of cutting fatty meat anymore with a knife. Even with scissors its too slow, and I'm usually standing up cutting and eating. I usually just eat with my hands but I've developed less paleo etiquette - eating in front of the computer so I'll use a fork then. I still havn't figured out/mastered getting marrow out of a long bone without a tool of some kind. Certain cuts I've found hard to just bite off with ease.

Oh yeah... I've used the handle end of a teaspoon to scrape out the marrow.. every time. I just haven't been able to get any marrow since I've been in Brum =(
