Whole coconut cream is amazing and its fat content is awesome. Id op for that if you have it. And yes some of us are more strict than others so they dont believe in coconut but I feel that when I eat/ drink it it soothes me. I personally like the smell, but thats just me. What I like most about it is that you can use it for anything, skin, hair, consumption, lubricant, trust me it is the best lubricant. I like the taste a lot more than milk too. One thing I like to do is make shakes with coconut milk, coconut cream, as many eggs as I want, and raw unheated honey. Unheated honey is also an amazing food. I dont make plain water shakes at all cause I dont like the taste of just pure eggs and water so I use the coconut and it works.

Coconut cream needs to be made fresh (1-2 weeks) in order for it to be most vital, although you can eat it fermented. If it is in a container and not getting sour, its likely heated. the oil actually holds up quite well in comparison. Tastes really strange personally.

there seem to be a few ZC people eating coconut oil, I guess it depends if one's definition is 'animal food only' or eating no significant carbs from plant sources, which can include condiments, leaves or fruit oils I suppose.

I just looked at the other thread. sounds good to me. eggs and avocados are great sources of fat and nutrients, although sometimes people can get reactions due to internal issues leading to fatigue or digestive problems...or issues with the feed of the birds etc...I've never had a problem with un-fertile eggs, but some claim its necessary for their digestion of the whites. Start a journal and make note of your reactions and progress. the large Florida style avocados which are probably now out of season, usually feel more natural in my body, although they export poorly. I havn't seen good quality hass in years, always stringy/mealy and tasteless. plus the organic varieties at 2.50-3.00 a pop tend to outprice almost all other fats per calorie.

Thats the same way I feel and I realize I could be more strict if I wanted but I have loved making shakes for years and coconut cream and milk work great for taste in shakes. My calories are about 80% or more animal (including eggs) and 20% or less from some coconut, unheated honey, some avocado, some celery, some carrots, tomatoes, and some other veggies in small portions. I know Im not 100% ZC and some day I might just do that, but I enjoy adding flavor to this diet with the coconut, unheated honey, and avacado. If I had to have only 3 foods they would be animal (all parts, esp fat), coconut, and unheated honey. Also consider this; If I added up all the calories of those foods I listed, about only 2% would be from carbs that cannot spike insulin or cause glycation so Idk. I do believe that we were carnivores for the most part and a wise man from this forum named actionhero said "animal is real food, all the other stuff is just meant to keep you alive till you find real food." That is totally what I believe.

Hey Pioneer my man! How can one tell if honey is unheated or not? By the way... One thing I really enjoyed once was coconut with honey. Also, why do I recall reading that nightshades(e.g. tomato) are not paleo, or not good?

Also.. When would you eat celery?

Separate: Is it protein and carbs which people have said don't digest well together? Because they require opposite conditions?

wow this is new news to me and I find it very interesting, I'll have to look into that. All I know is fat and protein are always together in nature so that is the best combo. Fat with carbs are good to because fat slows the spike in insulin and lowers the GI while also making nutrients more absorbable.

As for when I eat celery, my diet is pretty much AV primal diet without the milk and dairy. I love the enzyme content of honey and I dont know if it is true what he says about vegetables being the best way to avoid dehydration, but I have experimented with this and I must say, eating a tomato while exercising makes me fine throughout the whole workout and I dont feel the need to drink. You probably have read this but according to AV, vegetable's water is more cellularly utilizable and better than even water for the body.

Oh and to answer your honey question, I get my honey at a local market. It is labeled "Totally raw, unheated, may contain bee pollen and/ or bee parts". I guess I just assume if it says raw and unheated your good. I wonder who the dumbass is who thought of pasteurizing it. l)

Honestly I have no idea, and hope that I wont have to ditch them.  :'( I know I heard that in nature potatoes and onions are poisonous but I never heard of tomatoes.

I did. Availability was spotty due to the increasing number of people buying from them so I found a local supplier. The fat from Slankers is pretty good quality.

Slankers has a number of different animal fats listed but they are almost always out, same goes for smaller animal organs. cow is of course the most likely to be in stock. Make sure you don't order knuckle bones, unless you like soup. :)

I mostly ordered cow suet. I tried to order cow fat trimmings but they were always out. I also made orders of lamb fat and bison suet but my body did not like it so I couldn't eat it.

Fat. Lamb's fat is more saturated than beef so will already be a bit harder for your body to process, don't make it that much harder by getting suet.

Thank you. I would try Slanker's beef fat/suet first but it requires 4 pound packages. If I am able to consume lamb in large quantities, it will be a very valuable resource re fat content and organ consumption will be easier.

I believe you need to buy any of Slanker's fat/suet in 4 pound packages. I know when I orderede lamb fat it was a 4 pound bag.
There's also a 15 pound minimum IIRC from Slanker's so you might as well get a big thing of fat.
