This guy goes on and on about cooking ... but the idea that we have a brain in our gut lends a lot of credence to the ideas of high meat etc... I have some high meat brewing in my fridge at the moment that's a week and a half old. It's growing (or decomposing) very rapidly. Looking forward to seeing if it does anything when it's ready!

I'm actually quite scared of eating it so I made 2 jars. Starting from friday I'll eat one piece a day from the one jar to get used to the idea and see that I don't get sick etc. I'm hoping that by 4 weeks it will be "ready" and start giving me the good benefits.

im kinda scared off high meat myself, though i consider myself a "seasoned and informed paleo noob" at this point. I have treid making high meat before (maybe unsucesfully??) and it has made me sick every time. It has had some very light shades of dark green on it and smelled funky, so i am not sure what exactly high meat is like and would like to see some in person made by a veteran before i try again. I am currently doing an experiment for jokes tho and have had a sealed heart and another kidney in the fridge for at least 3-4weeks now (ive lost track kinda). I just wanna see what will happen : 8)..... ???..... -v

I'm airing mine every day. Lol. My girlfriend thinks I'm pretty f*cking crazy (I am a little ... and hopefully this will make me less so, haha :) )

The whole point of high meat is that you keep it regularly aired. No airing means only "bad" bacteria thrive as a result.
