How Do You Remove Insecticides from your home?
« on: June 21, 2011, 04:01:25 pm »
Will be staying with my granfather for a long time and he just recently had his home sprayed with insect pesticides a bug bomb despite my advice.

I heard it can even linger in the home, floor, furn, air etc for YEARS. How can one remove pesticides from the air, furniture, everything and floor in this case?

very hard i think. This just popped in my head:

Fog has been known to dissolve dirt from clothes. You might try filling the house with steam (lots of open pots boiling) and periodically open all the windows to let the water vapour rich air escape hopefully with some of the toxins. long shot at best.
“A man should be able to build a house, butcher a hog, tan the hide,
preserve the meat, deliver a baby, nurture the sick and reassure the dying, fight a war … specialization is for insects.”
