brain fridge

How long can I keep my cow brain in the fridge? The butcher told me only a couple of days but hes cooked meat eater so what does he know? What do you guys say on the subject?

I say 1 to 3 days.  Freshness is tops.

Is this only for brain? What other cuts is it important to consume quickly?
