Reactive Body?
« on: March 12, 2012, 09:18:07 pm »
Hey guys,

Basically on GAPS-style diet right now.  I keep leaning towards the rare/raw stuff.  I currently eat very rare salmon, beef, lamb, raw eggs, raw kefir, etc.  My body seems to be kind of confused sometimes though.  It's like i have never eaten this stuff before and my body is reacting to it?  It's like it freaks out because it doesn't recognize the food, not because its bad for me.  I mainly have this with raw eggs but other things as well.  Did anybody else have this reaction?  Do you think it will pass with time?

I know it doesn't make sense but its almost like my body goes WHAT is this?  Honestly, when i cook the whites a little i feel better.  I think its the whites that i react to.  I have done raw yolks for quite a while now.

I use to have that weird feeling also when I eat raw eggs. Now I replace my breakfast with 4 raw rainbow eggs and 1 duck egg.  Sometime with raw milk and liver also.

Yea, i'm doing a lot of different things to improve my health and sometimes I think i just do too many new things at once.  When the body needs to adjust, it needs to adjust.  Thats been my experience.
