I'm a believer whole flounder
« on: May 25, 2012, 03:30:08 pm »
Whole flounder with creamed banana, warm coconut oil & avocado on the side (this was delicious and would make a great desert on its own). Ate skin, flesh, roe, and eyes using a sharp knife, didn't venture into the skull or gills:

So, is raw flounder good?  I haven't tried that.

Well it tasted lightly fishy and it must surely be excellent for health, so yes it was good!
I was inspired by my research today suggesting my ancestors ate more fish than land animals.
What are your favorite fish?

To re-phase the question, how do you eat these / what do you do prior to eating, for example attack with hands and teeth, or slice finely and garnish with flowers, eat organs etc : )
