I'm not sure but I may think eating a lot of suet is making me a little too tired most of the time.

General Discussion / Re: Raw Meat Eating Family On Farm
« on: April 30, 2012, 11:40:47 pm »
This family isn't as picturesque as I'd hoped.  I would think a raw paleo family would be more robust and energetic, and not so cynical and negative, removing themselves from society, that isn't what this is all about to me.  My guess would be that it's the raw milk, and raw eggs that aren't good for them.  These two things across the board seem to give people trouble.

Here ya go

www.pastureraised.net

Nice guys, they offer all sorts of raw dairy from sheep, cows and goats, raw meats (beef, chicken, pork) including organs, and various fermented stuff. Everything is 100% grass-fed, organic, and fresh (unfrozen).

Pastureraised works the way cowshare program does, you pay $85 or somewhere around there for a year's membership, agree to waivers that state you like e.coli and want your food to contain it  O0 , and they'll give you a phone call to make sure you're legit. Gotta say though, they're kinda pricey.

Thank you
I actually checked this out before but got frustrated on the complicated membership but am now going to do it.  The only weird part is that how do you know they are providing you with the products they say they are.  It'd be pretty nifty if they sold you regular pasturized butter, but I guess this is unlikely, haha.

Health / Re: Anybody add SAD food and it be beneficial?
« on: April 25, 2012, 11:48:53 am »
out of SAD food I eat pizza once in a blue moon.  i also eat butter-fried potatoes regularly and sometimes other cooked home foods.  i stay away from the sweets.  i do not notice any negative side effects.  i think potatoes help me with weight gain.  i'd like to gain 10 more pounds or more.

Interesting, I actually experience the same thing.  Thanks

I'm going to answer my own question since people so far have failed.  I will eat SAD sporadically and each time results in runny nose, bloated stomach, and often delayed depression.  However, I think I do get some extra source of fuel to run off of, and when I do eat it, I devour it like it's something my bodies been craving for a while.

While staying mostly raw paleo, anybody incorporate burritos, pizza, beer, etc. and it turn out to be a better diet?

Did I get this right?  You tried eating raw paleo, meaning raw meat included, and now you eat dried food, sourdough flakes, raw vegan, but not any raw meat?

58
My cat eats high meat without any reaction at all. I fed him my high meat before I tried it myself. Had my cat rejected the high meat I don't think i would have eaten it myself.

My cat is 100% on raw meat, organs and fat (and the occasional few drops of raw kefir). When i gave him a piece of slimy high meat he just sniffed it and ate it straight away. No noticeable difference with regular meat.

If i give him something new he has never had before say chicken instead of beef their is a clear testing procedure. First sniff, then lick, then wait a bit. Then take in the mouth and spit out again, wait a bit. Then chew and spit out again, again waiting a while. Then eat a little piece and wait an hour or so. Then and then only he will eat the rest. If anywhere along this testing procedure he notices something wrong he won't touch it again. The fact that he ate the beef high meat straight away after just sniffing it means he doesn't think it's too different from regular beef

^How is your cats health?  I would think an all meat diet would totally change their demeanor, appearance, and energy.  My cat is at least eating "grain-free" catfood which isn't great, but I feed her meat and raw ground turkey whenever possible.  The other person who takes care of her, can't really be taught about the raw food world, and instead follows the vet's protocol.  My cat won't eat high meat, and will only eat ground turkey.  But eating more meat, and less catfood, I notice there's a big difference.

I keep finding that I am oddly more tired and sluggish after eating raw chicken and pork, and dont get that feeling after eating grass fed lamb and beef.  Some one said that animals that eat grains are sick and their meat passes that on to us, and I really do think that's valid.

Maybe YOU could study and do the research to explain said mechanisms instead of waiting for someone else to lay it out for you. Maybe your post should be directed inward? No one in the raw paleo movement as far as I know is 'trained' in a vetted institution (thank god!), we have just learned that there is a problem with the status quo, and we have realized that we need to think for ourselves and really learn how to think, since that is NOT what we're taught in school. So, you have as much ability as any of us, more or less, to ascertain the answers to your questions. Use all your resources, and you can learn to explain the mechanisms by which this diet functions just like Ty did in the last post.

^I knew I would get people's opinions and criticism, rather than anything positive or productive.  Ya know, you don't have to say anything!  But, I struggle  daily with fatigue and depression, and usually don't have the energy to really dive in deep to making new discoveries, and I thought, why not just ask the public and see if I get lucky?

« on: April 11, 2012, 04:32:38 pm »
I think we've covered the same principles over and over again on this forum and people keep suggesting the same things and nothing new is coming up!  Yes there are variations on certain things and opinions and experimentation, but I think there's is a plateau with raw paleo dieting and it needs to be broken.  What is the next thing we can do for vibrant, robust health that gives us that competitive advantage, and power for all the commitment and energy we put into eating this way.  I'm not here to feel happy and settled with people who have common interest, I'm here to constantly keep experimenting and finding that way to vibrant health and find that amazing energetic, clear, likable, excellent looking body, way of life that I know exists.  It's a sure thing that what we eat matters enormously, and most people are convinced it doesn't, it's a sure thing that eating natures life-filled foods is important.  I'm sure there would be excellent results from eating insects and small rodents, because they would be a large food source if we were in theory raw paleo people, which isn't really a theory of good health, it's a sure thing as we know, but you have to really remove yourself from normal people to do this.  Also, why does eating rotten meat have such good health benefits?
If you research raw paleo, you come across bullet points summarizing the main instructions on how it magically heals you.  There has got to be more bullet points, I'm not satisfied, I'm sick of hearing the same shit over and over again and people accepting of it.  I'm sure someone has the answer to this, but it would probably be so good, that they wouldn't have any reason to really share it.  I mean you wouldn't go shouting out to everyone if you found gold would you?

get raw cream or whole milk, let sit on counter top til the super thick cream separates, skim that off, put it in a jar, shake it til it separates further and becomes butter........

^how to skim off the cream in a glass jar?  And raw milk is so expensive and this is such a long process and I alread spend enough time in the kitchen for raw paleo, it's just a burden!  But maybe I'll give it a try

Perhaps this website will be useful. It specifically tells you if the farmer sells butter or whatever type of raw dairy:-

http://www.realmilk.com/where03.html

^ I've tried this and called all these local farms, nobody makes butter!  There must be some sort of larger distributer of the stuff.  The only one I found was in California and interstate commerce is illegal for them.

Do you realize how long he's been doing this diet?  ROFL

Seriously, I used to have trouble finding good sources for high-quality, inexpensive raw foods, but, after 12+ years eating a raw diet, it has gotten MUCH easier. It just takes some time.

However, if you're LUCKY, like GoodSamaritan, then you live in a tropical food paradise, and it takes almost zero time, once you actually know which raw foods to get. ROFL

^
Are you rolling on the floor laughing?
And still nobody has been able to provide any concrete way of getting raw butter, just their own opinions which weren't asked for.

you have so many resources near you www.eatwild.com and localharvest.com also search for local farmers markets and then figure out what ranches sell there and contact the ranch, there is no way you have limited resources, vermont is so tiny you have to have all kinds of options near by

^Appreciate this but despite things being close, no one makes butter, they just sell raw milk.  I'd have to call each and everyone one to ask if they do it.  I don't get it, how does aajonus always have raw cream and butter?

I'm in Vermont, so the place in California is out of the question.  I've had no success with Amish farmers, and the one who does make raw butter seems to be a very lazy amish farmer from speaking with him on the phone.  I don't understand how people talk about having raw butter so readily available all the time!?

General Discussion / Radiation and Medical advancements
« on: April 01, 2012, 07:32:03 am »
Getting to why I'm posting, is that I want to live in a nice house free of wi-fi, and cell phone reception, microwaves, and wireless anything, but all other forms of electricity is fine.  Unless you are living with other like minded people, which is rare, no one is going to be "down" for having no wi-fi, regular people praise this more than good food.  And no cell phone reception means you are out in the country, and you'll probably need to be established in life to do this, financially.  Being only 23 years old and not established, I'm just wishing this situation could come to fruition.

What is more a correlation to rampant poor human health and condition than what we eat, is the levels of radiation and medical treatments.  Looking at 1900, people's health was remarkably better and free of things like autism, depression, chronic fatigue, and nasty, life sucking conditions we accept daily in todays world.  Food hasn't changed that much, but antibiotics, vaccines, medicine, and cellphone towers and wi-fi everywhere has been a big change.  You may not want to talk about it, but I think wi-fi is very responsible for the very sharp and noticeable decrease in human quality, especially in younger generations who aren't developed enough to fight it.  These frequencies travel through buildings, meaning they are penetrating flesh too, and wi-fi is everywhere now, there's no break from it.  Basically, anyone else think a place free of cellphone reception and radiation would be worth it?

I ate testicle once. It was powerful but wrong for me. I felt that it would be so good for a man, but you are the first man I found to report eating raw testicle. The few experiences with blood have felt so right and good to my body. I thought blood was supposed to induce vomiting. I expected this, but it is like velvet smooth. Perfect. Easy to digest. Comforting to my digestion. I loved the stuff and I'm determined to get more. I also have enjoyed lots of fish row. It feels like a deeply healing food for my feminine body. It seems like you are on the right tract to me even though I come from the Venus side of your streangth and healing ideas.

^If only the average woman at the coffee shop was like you.

Yeah sure real great results; shrinking testikels, ruined kidness/liver, extreme agression, spontanious growth of tissue where it doesn't belong.

I have no personal experience with any of them and would avoid them like the plague. I think in general the results are over estimated and the side effects severely underestimated.

^So you don't know from experience!  I used to think eating raw meat would give me parasites and harmful bacteria that would destroy me based on respected literature!  If you research it, there's no info that supports steroids, and everything that goes against it.  People know that it works, therefore, it's kept on the down low.  Very similar to raw paleo.
^ I have been friends with and seen many people who take steroids and they have impressive looking bodies, get girls, are smart, and it seems from the fact that they promote human growth.  I notice positive growth in girls once they take birth control (steroid), when medically prescribed steroids from doctors I see people grow in intelligence and stature, and looking at bodies of professional, steroid taking athletes compared to amatuer natural ones, I'm just being honest, the professional ones look better to everyone!  Steroids come in so many forms, usually prescribed by doctors, they don't even realize much of their success comes from the human growth stimulated by these synthetics.

I'm curious, is there anyone on here who knows from experience the effects of taking HGH, or some kind of anabolic steroid, and compared it to RPD?  Despite it being synthetic, you'd still probably see better results from steroids than just RPD.

I hate to burst your bubble, but since when did gorillas juice vegetables?    ;)

Maybe gorillas wadge vegetables. I don't know and don't care. How about we focus on what works best for us as humans and individuals? ;D

I agree, whatever works is still most important.  Better to be happy than right.  Just from empirical evidence from people who are very ill, dairy and eggs always seem to not be healing.

I'm also currently experimenting with raw milk, and generally conclude that it has negative effects for me, makes me foggy and depressed.  However, if I'm craving something rich and fatty and creamy for some reason, a glass of raw milk will be overall beneficial.  But, if I use it as a staple, like I look at raw meat, raw honey, avacados, veggie juice, etc, then I tend to be foggy and depressed.

From all my experiments in the past three years, I keep coming back to that we are best eating what we'd eat if we were primal beings.  That means no eggs, and no dairy!  Why do we eat these things!  It would be bizarre for a gorilla to eat dairy or eggs.

I have ate mouthfuls of high meat about 50 times now, and I've observed that doing it three times a day actually makes me more tired, doing it once every three days seems to have the best effect, but I usually have a little once a day.  I agree that it gives a short, mild, high and sense of knowing who you are.

It's no cure for chronic depression.  Why would Mr. Vonderplantiz claim that his "resolves" chronic depression?
