Yes lifestyle can, like exercise and sleep and things like that, I'm talking about experiences, a lot of people think experiences cause anxiety disorders and its just not true.
It's kind of like the dog chasing the tail. Anxiety can cause poor lifestyle choices (diet for instance)which can make the anxiety worse, which can make a person make even worse choices. The reverse can also happen, for instance if you do as Tyler suggested the physical component of the anxiety may be relieved which makes you less inclined to make poor lifestyle choices and so on.

There are things from our past that push us to do things on a level that is way below a conscious level. For us guys we are less likely to admit it, and conversely the ladies will sometimes go overboard and put a bit too much weight on it. Of course these statements are a bit broad brush but....

It's a bit hard to explain and  sounds a bit airee fairee but there is truth to it. Took me many years to figure out the extent of the truth of it. (I'm 62)

How is the rest of your diet? Are you eating or converting to a raw diet?

If this woman is correct it could possibly explain the technology of how the Pyramids were built.  This vid was done 22 July 2013. It's quite strange and worth the time.

There is something to that JK. I know that I have stopped wearing even boxers. I wear suspenders and it is very comfortable. When I was a teen I had a loss of sensation on the inside of my legs that caused me to go to the Doc. He said it was the tight u.wear and he was right.

Same thing with bras on women. They are bad news.

TD, You are right. Same with Indian men's clothing. Much more comfortable and natural.

Ayurveda says that taking a hot bath is bad for fertility for the same reason.

Primal Diet / Re: No Water
« on: April 13, 2015, 12:56:03 am »
Nowadays thanks to the; chlorine, fluoride (with fl. water and toothpaste etc) & bromine which is added to a variety of things including flour in some countries, it is necessary to get rid of this stuff, as being a halide it attaches itself to the thyroid in the iodine receptors thus causing your thyroid to not be able to work properly in producing hormones for body temperature regulation etc.

Soooo it is suggested to drink about 1/2 teaspoon of (anything but rock salt) salt in an eight ounce glass of water and then have another glass of water after that to download these halides from the system. It is called salt flushing. Then having some source of iodine, whether it be seaweed, free-range eggs, oysters, seafood, Lugols etc to replenish the system to assist the thyroid.

A natural form of iodine is a personal favourite. Lugols tends to be a bit strong causing a headache in higher doses, but it is useful and was once a very important medicinal, a staple almost cure-all used by Docs until big pharma figured out a way to discredit it with phoney science. No money in curing.

I used to have a lot of trouble with salt, but discovered it was the rock salt variety that was problematic.

Welcome to the neighbourhood! Hang in there Victor. It's worth the trouble as you will eat a lot less and feel no need to eat more and physically as well as mentally feel better. My dental issues are a memory.

As Tyler said there is a bit of a transition period while your gut bacteria/flora changes. When I switched, I was pretty healthy and it slowed me for about six months while I adjusted. I went completely cold turkey from vegan, so it was quite a change.

We found that raw chicken was pretty hard to take. Also initially really fresh ground meats were OK, but the thrill wore off. LOL Something about the cells being broken having an effect on the meat. Maybe it oxidizes... dunno

Anyways you will find what works for you and once it settles you'll be impressed.

I tried getting adrenals/thymus/thyroid locally, but abattoirs are not amenable to that. You'll probably have to find a farmer for that.

I have a theory that your body knows what is good for you and so programs your taste buds to make certain foods that you need taste good. Even if the theory is nonsense it's better than eating chicken. YMMV

Excerpts from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bosnian_pyramid_claims

So all professional archaeologists are part of a worlwide conspiracy? Or maybe they are Illuminatis? Or idiots? Or liars? LOL!
https://www.google.ca/maps/place/43%C2%B058'37.0%22N+18%C2%B010'34.0%22E/@43.979969,18.178768,3a,75y/data=!3m5!1e2!3m3!1s1797147!2e1!3e10!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x0?hl=en

I went to your silly wackipedia page and went to the link that you were shuttled to when you hit their coordinates. Yet another of these pyramidiots site. So I took the coordinates and pasted them into Google and got an actual picture of the pyramid and it looks really like a flat sided (unlikely to occur in nature) structure.

As far as conspiracies.... it is hard to know the reason PPL do things. It is just obvious that somebody is.

Red Cross did the same thing with "The Heimlich Maneuver". Thousands of PPL needlessly died because a bunch of old, over-the-hill medical farts, were too full of their own egos and therefore would not accept a new idea.

In the movie one engineer took a picture of one of the rock sculptures that has a face on it (sorry but I cannot recall the name maybe someone can help me) and printed off a transparency of the picture and overlaid it reversed left to right. The image was absolutely identical. Everything was exactly the same . This was done with all of the views, front, side etc. This engineer said that to think the some human made a sculpture by just eyeballing a massive thing like that and them hammering away with a copper tool is so ludicrous that it is silly to even conceive of it. Nowadays it could be done with machines, but with a human just out of the trees.................. pure pyramidiocy...

211
I've seen the videos presented on the Bosnian pyramids and they seem to be the real deal.
So many many pyramids around the world.
Did you watch the physicist who measured the energy beam streaming from the peak of the pyramid?
The same physicist says he went around the world to 88 pyramids and he said 87 of 88 pyramids exhibited this energy beam characteristic.

Therefore energy beam output is a normal pyramid function.

Wouldn't you like to know eventually what Chinese archaeologists will discover and publicize about their pyramids?
One quite fascinating thing about the pyramids in Egypt as well as the other various ones in the world is that the rocks are not necessarily ( and often not) flat or symmetric and therefore that shoots the ridiculous claims that a bunch of slaves slid these things along on logs or used rocking devices to lift these huge heavy things.

The theories like these that pyramidiots claim were used to build them are beyond foolish.

The asymmetry of the stones is why they have been subjected to major quakes and show no sign of any damage or deterioration. This is common to the various pyramids around the world and also the similarity in construction techniques is quite compelling. Considering that we were apparently not that long 'out of the trees' according to the official 'scientific pyramidiots' theories.

The vision of a group of humans going around with clubs, hauling their women behind them by their hair and yet they built the pyramids with copper tools and rocks, with knowledge of construction that nowadays we have parsed by running lots of scientific studies to understand how earthquakes damage structures and they built these with tolerances of sub 1 cm and shipped these massive rocks for hundreds of miles down a river on a barge made with papyrus reeds.... ca'mon... gimme a break... My name is Billy Hunt, not silly #unt.

212
Why would the Bosnian authorities stop this project, hoax or not? I mean, frikin' pyramids man. Great tourist attraction.
Politics makes strange bedfellows. Somebody has a brother who is in the position to do what they please. Hunose. Governments are composed of PPL who are just as dumb/greedy/conceited as the rest of us.

Marijuana is illegal in most of the world. Why? ? ? ? money/politics.

Go read TD's thread on Ron Paul and the other ones on RP and go read RP's books. You'll see that this crap is real, in fact it can be pretty discouraging when you see it being done so blatantly. Maybe the internet will cause a revolution. It started the Wall Street thing.

Geeze I thought we got rid of Kings, but we replaced them with even more devious folks.

Things happen in places that we are not privy to. Look @ 911. Obviously another inside job. Lots of these things happen. To me it is the height of naivete to accept 'official' explanations. To me it is beyond conspiracy theories. There should be another name than conspiracy theories as it is  too general.

Why would emperors shut down whole technologies/industries like the Chinese did back around the year 1000. They were exploring the world with large ships 400 to 500 years before the Europeans were. They'd made it half way down Africa and 1/2 way into the interior when the emperor ordered it all stopped and the shipyards destroyed and all this knowledge destroyed. Were it not for a nosey Brit (The Man Who Loved China) who chased around China digging up info even the locals were not aware of it. History has strange twists and turns.

Guy Fawkes was another strange tale. The French Revolution another strange tale as well as the Bolshevik Revolution. Everything is not as it seems.

When I went to school the European rape of the worldwide aboriginals was glossed over. Read "The PPL's History Of the United States" by Howard Zinn if you want a peek under the hood at what was said in the media and what really happened.

Same with nowadays the nonsense in the media about Saddam Hussein is all just BS made up by Bush and his co-murderer/genocidal/sociopathic friends and family used to go into Iraq and once again rape/sodomize another country ( Iraq), like they did in South America, SE Asia and now onto the final frontier Africa. Read "Confessions of an economic Hitman" and the follow up book for the deets. Then you will get an idea that some folks is jus' plain cwazy.

That's true. Mangoes are not as bad if I only eat small quantities and they are ripe.

JK,
It is a refreshing movie in that it sticks to what appears to be facts. I have not checked out the GPS coordinates to absolutely verify it but it quite a fascinating story.

Sort of like the story that Robert Schoch tells in "Voyages of the Pyramids Builders". That book has interesting thoughts regarding PPL who travelled around the world. It has to do with the changes in ocean levels during various ages owing to climatic changes. This of course meant that there were land bridges all over, that allowed PPL to travel quite easily on dry land disseminating knowledge like how to build pyramids. He builds on some very interesting facts that would be available to a geologist, which he is.

One other thing is to avoid sour foods like fruit. They are the kiss of death to your teeth.

If you must have them smother them in some variety of fat.

ANother suggestion is to mix up some Bentonite clay with water, let it sit for 2 or 3 days and then before you go to bed take a tsp or two of it coat your teeth and leave it there all night.

Worked for me although really the fat has been the biggie.

Cough drops are an excellent way to get rid of your teeth as well as the rest of you.

Instead try raw fat it will coat the teeth reducing the damage done by the CDs  and probably stop the cough as it coats the upper end of the GIT which is usually destroyed by something like CDs.

This does not belong in the Hot Topic. It belongs in the Politics/Spirituality/Philosophy/Supernatural/Conspiracy section. It's time we stop posting these kind of far-reached theories on the front page, where anyone can read, and judge.

GS, you must understand that 90% of the people who visit this forum are "non-believers", and if the first thing they stumble upon is yet another space-alien story, it is likely that they will automatically label this forum as a conspiratie-theorist e-rally, and not go on and explore potentially interesting and useful things for anyone considering a raw paleo diet.

In that section of the forum there is a Ron Paul thread, two anti-Muslim rants about a meat cutting issue and other threads that have nothing to do with a raw diet or any diet.

Then there is the fact that this movie does not say anything about space aliens or conspiracy theories. It discusses mathematics, geometry, geography, some of the wild and totally accepted current theories on the construction/purpose/design/placement/ of some of the  various large structures around the world.

This was my objection to your statement and those of TD and Iguana. You commented on something about which you know nothing. Watch the movie and find out. The ending is quite interesting.  Seriously.

If you watch the movie then you can say what you want, because then it is a discussion.

I have no doubt you are a well-meaning well-spoken gentleman. Ditto for Iguana and TD.

219
I used wikipedia as it is great at debunking the more ridiculous theories. I am sure I could find more detailed counter-evidence if I looked, but I cannot afford to waste the time required given that ancient astronaut theories have been so often thoroughly debunked.
Face it Tyler, you didn't watch the movie, (nor do you ever watch any of the links) nor did Iguana and nor did JeuneKoq. The three of you were showing that you don't want to be confused with information when your minds are already cemented in place.

http://www.theflatearthsociety.org/forum/index.php?topic=63349.0#.VScZG5TF9Vg

Did you watch the first video?
New Global evidence is massive!
There was a past global high tech civilization prior to this civilization.

The question is of course rhetorical GS because they don't need to. They already know it all. Don't confuse 'em wit da fax. Their grandchildren will be laughing at them when these theories are in some form or another accepted.

The narrator in the movie says it all beautifully about the pyramids. To guess that humans of that time and mental development (as evolution would have us believe) could have build them, is laughable.

This book is yet another nail in the coffin of the out-of-Africa tale.

Why is it that so-called 'real' archeologists want to stop a completely self-funded project from proceeding by using threats of job action, political shutting down of site etc to get their way.

That is no different than the Catholic church going after the enemies of the "true religion."

The whole thing is so obviously smelly that it is laughable. All those 'university educated smarti-pants lumps' are afraid of being called fools, so they gather their best political might and fight the protestants. If there wasn't something to the theory there would be no reason to raise such a fuss.

Sort of reminds me of the KKK in the southern US attacking the Freedom riders bus. They knew that had to defend their religion. The times they are a changin.

Wow... stooping to using the worst site on the "whirled whide nitwit" to serve as the definitive proof. You're slowing down in your age. You can do better than that!

Really? I thought Off-topic was precisely designed for all the off-topic, strange, paranormal subjects, and Hot-topic for stuff such as accounts of people surviving out there on raw foods only, various events that may concern the whole raw community, and such.

Oh well, your call moderators. I'm already used to this stuff, but more pragmatic newcomers might be put off by it, especially if it's the first thing they read here...
This is a discussion forum not a facts forum.

A lot of PPL who eat a paleo raw diet are pragmatic and a lot are PPL who find new and interesting ideas fascinating. I for instance find the story of humans being "out of Africa" is a load of nonsense and there are threads on that topic. Problem is that PPL who go to university, get indoctrinated into the evolution story and are taught to make fun of anyone who doesn't march in lock step with their belief. Gallen was once the "university" guru of medicine. Now he is laughed @.

Bear in mind that most pragmatic PPL wouldn't eat a raw diet if they were starving to death. They would choose death over anything as "unusual" as that.
