No one has actually seen me eat raw meat, but they have seen me come home with huge amounts and seen it in the refer.

Females: How much meat do you eat per week?
This question is for those who eat most all meat (all raw of course).
I eat about 11 lbs of meat per week, with 2-4lbs raw fat, and the marrow from about 7-8 lbs shank bones. (basically all of the marrow from a side of beef except the pieces that go with certain cuts.) When I tell people how much meat I eat per week they are flabbergasted of course. :o Because I am rather small and girlish.

It used to take me ages to chew my meat, but now I can eat it fairly fast (the same spead as cooked steak). I usually eat in the free time it takes me to drive anywhere. I only eat fresh meat and no ground meat anymore. Ground meat is definitely boring.

Do you think its a problem if I felt a little mucus in my throat after eating them?

General Discussion / different types of fat
« on: June 08, 2010, 07:36:43 am »
Do you know if different types of beef fat are named differently? I know that their is one kind that I really like which is very white and looks a little bit like shortening. It seperates when bent
thanks.

General Discussion / Do you use silverware?
« on: May 31, 2010, 11:24:32 am »
I just realized how savage I must look if someone were to see me eating a meal. I usually eat in my car either driving somewhere or parked on my breaks. I just slice off a large chunk and rip at it with my teeth. I don't think I've ever used a fork.

General Discussion / What is your favorite cut of meat to buy?
« on: May 31, 2010, 11:16:54 am »
What are your favorite cuts of cow to buy and why?
Here are mine:
1. Shank bones- I like to bite off the extra meat from the outside and push the marrow out easily when it is slightly softened and enjoy. Good and inexpensive.
2. London broil- Inexpensive with little fat (I buy my fat dirt cheap on the side). Perfect helping for one meal for me.
3. Round steak- I like to buy a 2-3X thick one of these to eat over a couple of days, fairly cheap, and a special prize in the middle for dessert.

The man I like nearly vomited out of disgust from eating raw salmon...SALMON of all things. He also told me he likes well done steak. So sad that it will not work out for us.
As for Male/female relations in general, I find I agree the most with Henry Makow. Very wise man.

General Discussion / meat-slightly dried
« on: May 25, 2010, 10:14:41 am »
Hi. If my meat gets slightly dried on the outside after being stored in the refer for several day, does it lose nutrition? Also if my beef fat gets slightly dried does it lose nutrition? (it still tastes good) Thanks

P.S. I think I have found the best way to store my meat for up to 5 days, which is great because I was posting here like crazy for a while about it (so annoying)  :P

I think the problem I may have had is that I was storing both meat and fat in the same container. I will try some new ways of storing.
Michael: Do you have a pile of fat in the bowl or are the pieces layed out flat? Does the fat get dried out?
Thank you

Thank you Kyle.  It is just pieces of trimmed fat I got from the local organic butcher for real cheap. They have occasionaly miniscule pieces of meat on them. after a couple of days they smelled a little like some sort of plant or vegetable. I ate some and felt fine. My steaks also turned brown and developed a different smell and taste. I just want my meat to be the most nutritious possible and to save for up to 5 days because I can't get to the meat shop any oftener than wednesday and friday. I'm afraid to eat prefrozen meat. I'm worried that it loses nutrition.
Thank you for your replies, I appreciate all the help I can get to be successful.

How many days does that way usually last for you? Should I trim off any extra meat from it?

Would raw unfertilized organic eggs from the health food store be good to eat if I'm in a pinch? How do most paleos react to them?
Thank you

I got some raw fat on friday and have been eating it over the weekend. It developed a couple of greenish spots today and the pieces smell strong of plants. What is the best way to store it? I have been storing it on a glass cassarole dish.

I am really confused still about what the best way to store meat is that keeps it the most nutritious. Should I stack them all up in a glass jar or lay them out on a glass dish? What is the best way to store them for up to 5 days strait? Do they need to have air on all sides?

Okay, well that is good.  Is it okay to leave several steaks stacked up on one another or should I have them all spread out? They turn brown when stacked, but get a little dry when spread out. I buy for 4-5 days at a time in steak sized cuts.

why would my fresh meat turn brown in spots on the outside when kept in the fridge? I keep it in a glass dish. Is this a bad thing or natural? Thank you.

General Discussion / Most economical cuts of beef
« on: April 25, 2010, 12:18:02 am »
What are the most inexexpensive cuts of beef which have low waste and are moderately tender with a good amount of buttery fat? I can consume just about any cut of meat including the tougher ones, but I don't have that much time to spend on excessive chewing. I recently tried a sirloin steak fat on and was in ectacy from the good flavor and easy chewing, but I may only be able to afford 1 or 2 of these per week.
Thanks a lot. 8)

Nutritious, do you think? Don't flies like to eat unnutritious things and worse?
I have found a way to fit my meat in the refer fortunately.
Thank you to everyone who has answered my questions. I have been researching ferverishly so my inquisitiveness should dwindle soon.

Maggots!Yikes thats gross. Maybe it will work if I then wrap the glass jar in a plastic bag. The problem is that I need to be discreet and I do not have much room in my refer that I can put it in all in glass jars. I will probably only have it out for 2 days tops.  If I were to have some of the meat wrapped in wax paper and placed in the refer would it work? If I were to open it up 2-3 times per day.
I wish I had time to purchase it daily but I can only go 2 times per week.

Okay, If I keep it in a glass jar at room temperature, with room for air, will this keep it fresh and nutritous for up to a week?

So I know about high meat and that meat can be left out for long periods of time.
Does meat actually ever "go bad" or become unhealthful and how?
Will it go bad if packaged incorrectly?
How can I tell if is actually bad? :P

I get now purified tap water which I believe is reverse osmosis. Could I add anything to it to make it best? I never buy farmed salmon and won't buy meat from the supermarket anymore. I am buying my fish from the local fish shop. I hope that they would not lie about the salmon being non-farmed.
