Display Your Culinary Creations / Wasabi Steak Tartare
« on: June 07, 2015, 12:12:57 pm »
What's up, RAFooders?! It's been awhile, I thought I'd drop in and share a meal I've been eating regularly. The sauce is not 100% raw, but it's mostly raw and it's wonderful. Great intro meal if you're sharing with the uninitiated.

I make about a half cup of the sauce, eating it immediately and allowing it to brew in a cupboard for later use.

Ingredients:
-Steak
-Onion

Sauce:
-Og Tamari
-EV Pepita Oil
-Crushed Garlic
-Wasabi Paste
-Raw Honey
-Sea Salt

I quit the experiment, financially I could not do it. Milk is something I can get for relatively cheap.
After two weeks I noticed no lightening of the irises.
If the milk was a problem that showed in the eyes then the Iridology buff AV might not promote it as much as he does.

I didn't know av was 71! :o

That is Art DeVany, not Vonderplanitz. I think...

AV is in his 63rd or 64th year

Yes! I wanted to make a topic on urine. Can you turn this into a topic Actup?
Yes I will, I feel it deserves it's own thread.

I tried urine therapy a few times but never really noticed any benefits from it. Machida is great btw.
I'd like to know the specifics of your approach. Here is the topic.

Becoming friends with good farmers, while honing outdoor/natural living skills.
More so the former, for I don't think it is going to get that bad, but it could be necessary.
If I can keep drinking milk, then that is what I plan on doing.

Helping others understand and optimize bodily functions from a clear perception could also be a good investment.
I am easing into the yoga teaching world. My job now causes much more stress. This should help me and my clients.
Choose a lifestyle that makes you and others happy.

I live in the desert, the dry heat has been reaching over 100ºF for a few weeks now..
The last time I drank "water" was in May, about 8 ounces.
Feeling great, in case you were wondering!  ;)

Ever try fermenting it in a bottle into highmeat?  It changes kidney as a food for the better, in my opinion.
Once I left liver in the refrigerator for a few weeks.
In the jar, the juices came out. Fermenting into what could only be described as the meatiest soda pop ever <3

Omnivorous Raw Paleo Diet / Re: Tree Ripened Fruits
« on: July 09, 2011, 11:55:31 am »
I had the opportunity a few weeks ago to climb into a tree and pick the final plums. Those plums might have been a bit worn scratched pecked, but they were amazing. Concur with the taste of ethanol, still so much sweeter.

The primary reason why vine/tree ripened are better, I'd imagine, is because you are likely eating them closer to the time they were picked. Much fresher than one that spent a few days on a truck. If they spent that time on ripe fruit there is a good chance it would be "spoiled" by the time it arrived.

If your going to drink it is better to make it yourself.
I drink mead almost daily. It's an awesome thing to bring to social events.
Last month, I brought prickly pear wine to a small yoga class party. It was gone within a couple hours.
Their mentally lubricated state made it easier to tell the vegetarians I eat raw red flesh every day. LoL!  ;)

Socially it's great but I find it fits in my diet primarily because it is a very decongestant and fiery food. Sometimes eating all of this meat would leave me constipated. Fruit is great in helping with that, but fermented spirits IMO are the "next step" for fruit/ carb dominant foods. Sometimes I make them out of teas, like the "root beer". Sometimes they are completely raw like the prickly pear. It's an art, do it however you like. Creativity is the best part.

Display Your Culinary Creations / Tzatziki sauce..
« on: July 07, 2011, 11:08:41 am »
Because it is nothing more than a delicious fluid of milky slime, I won't be posting pictures.

1 cup............ Dairy Cream
1Tsp...............Cucumber juice OR 1/3 cup.. diced cucumber
1Tbsp............ Lemon juice
1Tbsp............ Balsamic vinegar
1/2Tbsp......... Coconut aminos (salty but not salt, you could use a pinch of salt if you want)
However much garlic you like

This is a rough estimate, do it to please you, or to the liking of someone who can't take the straight beef flavor... yet

That is a great sacrifice! I would probably choose cream of the three! Why did you choose only butter?
Butter is the easiest to digest. I eat it with fruit, flesh, anything; which may be the primary reason to keep it in.
Milk is the only one I'm might be having problems with right now anyway.
Acne has increased in the past month I started drinking it straight, but that could just be the introduction of summer.

I might do a little bit of cream here and there, because I recently discovered tzatziki sauce and make it continuously.
Ate some with beef an hour ago  ;D

Because I love you all.. and it's summer here in the sonoran desert.
I will see what happens when I switch to using only butter, and ceasing the milk/cream.
Just as soon as my whole milk is gone, I will start. Probably in a few days.

About 40% of my diet is raw dairy. My Irises are as bright as they ever have been.
My irises used to be close to black. Still very dark, but they appear to be improving.

This is a followup to the show #420. There was another but I am not familiar with the other.
Both of them are still in the raw and seeing great results, no surprise.
Circle jerk, imminent. LOL!
Enjoy.

Damn that is a good point. The stored food would only last for so long, then you would have to adapt to something else. The something else would probably be more beneficial anyway.
MORE ANT EGGS!!!  ;D

report back! what does he say about plant fats?.. they can store micro-nutrients, but not animal fats?
Will do. I'm equally, if not more, curious. I view them as some of the most wise elders I have around. Each time we meet I learn more. To see them take this position is thought provoking to say the least.
You are talking about omega 6 ratios? I certainly want to know their view on that.

I'm not really sure precisely how his approach has shifted.  He eats a lot of cooked food, but I do trust his sincerity.
Next weekend I hope to discuss this with him. Perhaps I will be able to expound on his view from my raw perspective.
I couldn't resist the pun  ;D

Where do you get your raw cream and butter from? How much do you pay for it?
I'd love to tell you but that information is quite sensitive. For the protection of my friend I will not be able to share that info.
Yes, I am serious, you can thank the DoA and the FDA. You can get raw milk from "Save your Dairy LLC" but they are not allowed to sell cream because they "do not have sufficient space", so sayeth the parasitic class.

...
Thank you for sharing. I will see if I can incorporate this in. Seems intense!
Exercise makes you sick? WTF?
Maybe you are working out with food in your gut, that always gets me.
I only do yoga and hiking.

They don't age all that well though, the puppets at least...
I doubt the people we see on TV have any idea what is going on at all.
They are probably spending their time scared to death of their mysterious bosses.
