For how long have you been taking cod liver oil?

Liver always tasted bad to me. Does that mean I have loads of cooper?

@Arthas: wow that's a LOT of supplements...

If you want to go low on copper, I think vitamin C megadose will be enough.

AV: Grinding meat makes it easier to digest (Aajonus grinds or finely chews all his meat--another issue on which Tyler disagrees with him).

He does this because he said his stomach does not secrete enough acid and said that 'normal' people may not need to do that.

I think they could could have skipped the part where he talks about his past, since this was supposed to be more advanced.

Here is what I think I will eat everyday:

5-10 fruits of all kind.
1 avocado(for fat)
2 free run eggs (for protein)
3 stalks of celery and 3 carrots.
50g of sunflower seeds( for protein)
300g of probiotic yogurt.
2 tsp of olive oil before bed.

The olive oil should be cold pressed or stone pressed.

I think there is too much fruit/veg in the list you described.

I have read through most of your posts and your ideas contributed to my ideas of excess protein.  While you say you're eating low protein and still suffering energy wise, I'm fairly certain I saw a post of yours about bubbles in your urine?  I'm fairly certain excess levels of protein can take a VERY long time to clear.  I'm guessing you've eaten very high protein/supplemented protein in the past, given your heavy lifting.  Perhaps many of us are still dealing with the long term effects of the popular fitness dogma to eat protein with every meal and drink protein shakes PWO.
...

Last year I ate about 5 Kg of powder whey protein in 3 months.

I think these powders have a very low rate of assimilation or else I would have encountered problems.

It's not limited to the former U.S.A. - proof is found on this forum.

lol, that is so true. Except the part about parents, some actually think they do a good thing.

General Discussion / Re: Paleo water!
« on: April 17, 2010, 05:49:40 am »

He mentions one thing that could be an evolution from Aajonus theory of not drinking water at all:

"when water has a complete structure, it does not really need to take other things/ leech minerals from the body / etc"
Spring water seems to have it.

I also liked this part too (could be true true):
"Hitler put fluoride into water because it attacks the part of the brain responsible for will power"

Yes, suet or marrow are the alternatives if you're allergic to dairy.

In my opinion, butter is the best for dry skin.

Ever since I started eating butter, I never had a problem with dry skin. Now I eat about 4 Kg a month.

Vegetable oils are probably better in small quantities and mostly for cleansing purposes.

I think I heard that before, but every time I let my hair unwashed it gets very itchy and I scratch my head a lot.

Now about coconut creme. I tried it today and it left my hair very greasy that I had to use shampoo right after it.

I still smell like coconut creme... I guess it's good if you live in a cave but not if I have to go out.

I will do one more experiment by mixing it with an egg yolk and after that I'm done.

The "intelligent" ones are already being weeded out.  They are just intelligent enough to accept contraceptivizing their own blood lines out of existence.
Look at the demographic charts.  Lots of people buying into the contraceptive game.

This reminds me of the movie Idiocracy.

How much money do you guys think the average author of such books makes? Is there a way to look that up?

I would ask the authors.

The amount of money depends on how many people buy that book. Even crappy books could become best sellers with the right, targeted, marketing.

180 IQ is not the upper limit, there are also people with IQs above 200. 250(?) IQ ...

lol, I meant >= 180

Some people call it "digestive issues", others call it "digestive enhancements" ;)

Depends on how you look at it.

I listened to some of it because I was curious what is his argument in favor of cooking and it seems the only one is that "cooking makes nutrients more available" and that's why we were able to grow such large brains, because we could afford it.

How many of you looked at your eyes and notice a resemblance to the "wheel" pattern?

The one in the picture seems quite extreme.

Well, the limit is 180 IQ so...  -\

I think nutritional science will allow more population growth anyway so a smarter idea would be (for the intelligent people) to figure out a way to educate the others so that we don't have to think in reductionist way.

If population reduction will become absolutely necessary, it will more likely be a matter of "who's got more guns" than IQ.

Here is a quick way to identify if you have parasites:

Check your iris and notice if you have this description "Radii Solaris-radiates out like spokes on a wheel"

Those studies were done on people eating SAD.

It would be interesting if they could find a correlation between those with fewer teeth that just turned raw paleo. I would be surprised if they would find it.

If you use just hot water that will be enough to melt the oils and vitamin D on the skin. Cold water may not be so effective.

And I haven't yet seen him recommending lower amounts of veggie-juice to his clients, as a general rule.

I think he says in his lecture that kids raised on a primal diet don't really need vegetable juices because there is probably not much to detox/rebuild.

The same could be true for adults.

I haven't thought about that. My hair gets oily after 2-3 days so I imagine it would take more than water to remove some of that.

Maybe I'll give it a shot sometime.

Updates:

1. I tried to use an egg instead of shampoo twice and got dandruff so I'll not be using that again. Next. I'll try coconut cream.

2. I've been doing ~2 liters of Keir a day. Those grains start growing faster when I place them in goat milk

General Discussion / Re: Chicken Gizzard?

Heart and gizzard are the best tasting parts of chicken in my opinion. The only thing that I don't like is the smell, after a few days.
