Sabetooth,
Based on what you wrote on Aldous Huxley, i am really curious. I guess i will try to read some of his books. Do you have any suggested list of his books and in what order i should be reading them.

-Thanks

Based on what i see around me. Science/Technology function like the religion of 21st century.

Like the religions of past i dont expect much from it.

My family was is not eating raw-meat, but they seem to be doing much better with cooked-meat than they did with just cooked-carbs(vegetarians).

it seems the cooked meat also contains nutrients - missing from the diet previously.

i m in no way recommending cooked-meat. This is just an observation, as we were vegans/vegetarian untill recently.

CHK91,
from what i see currently, unfortunately you maybe right.

I can't help but feel that most of the scientific literature on diet and nutrition is bullshit. -\

CHK,
i think you are getting close. What is "Science"? I read somewhere that this word perhaps did not exist couple of centuries ago. Its derived from a much more ancient system "Philosophy".

Afroza,
Wow! You lived in the two most beautiful parts of india, kashmir & goa, Moutain & sea.

Did you have any issues with 'grainfed chicken raw'. I was there recently i decided against eating it. What about mutton in india, did u try it raw?

kurite,
It costed me 50cents, ofcourse to a white guy it will still cost $2, even in india.

India is getting expensive. in my vist, for the first time in 12yrs i felt poor. My friends who stayed back in india are filthy rich, they have more money than ever hope to make in my life here.

Strange thing is that a lot of this money in india is actually coming from USA.

how do you source good grassfed meat in india. My home is in delhi - where it is difficult to find a trustworthy supplier.

i guess so. I guess they cut the outside to reduce weight and space (easier to ship i guess) - viola now they are white.

Not sure if you tried the actual fresh ones (green) i find them much fresher than the white ones.

I know i m pulling stuff out of thin air.

Just like we need some bacteria to keep our immune system tuned-up, what if we also need some toxins to keep it fit.

diet could be one factor, there could be lots others like STRESS, water, air (they all suck in urban areas). Following the same logic - maybe all the pretty girls roaming city streets are droping the hairs on male heads  ;)

92
GS,
you should be getting it. Let me know.

Very good point. I cannot beleive that i did not think of this before. Actually my digestion started going south around the time i started drinking lots of water (some guru suggested that it would cure my pain).

i drink less water now, my digestion is not perfect but there is less bloating for sure.

send me one too. GS

too much butter makes my stomach rumble(even if it is raw grassfed), have not tried suet yet. Just wondering if digesting suet will be harder than digesting raw butter.

If this is true then how will increase my fat intake.

Raw-al,
just did it. It was midday but cloudy. within a few seconds there appears a blue dancing disk that seems to cover the bright center. it immediately transported me back in time - the last time i did sungazing as a kid.
