Ancient Greeks, then Romans, invented atheism

It may have been that atheism existed even  in palaeolithic times. At any rate,  even if not, palaeolithic societies almost certainly embraced animist-religions wherein every animal or plant contained a spirit within. These would have implied a much lower annihilation of Nature(well, aside from the extinction of very large mammals in Europe, Australia etc.). My point being that polytheistic societies, and to a much greater extent monotheistic societies, are much more harmful to the environment and far more unnatural to humans and their natural (palaeo) way of life.

That is the definition of atheism from a religious person's point of view.

I would consider myself an open minded person and that is not my definition.

If you read some of my entries here, I lean more in the direction of the humans were created by ancient aliens.
