Bentonite clay question

Hi I have some no additive bentonite clay from NOW however after reading we want to live saw that bentonite clay is said to contain tons of heavy metals in it.  Will the potential volcanic metals from the clay enter my body if I use it externally for hot baths like ajanous?

If you're worried, why not instead buy edible french green sundried clay?
