How long has Frederic Patenaude been a raw vegan with emphasis on fruits? Does he look young or old for his age?

Thank you, GS. So complicated!  I thought a good RPD is a cure-all.  ???

GS, thanks for responding.

As I said, all his raw animal foods are high quality, meaning grass-fed or wild caught from clean waters with no preservatives.

Remember that eczema is a coping mechanism.  So think, coping from what?

I guess coping with toxins in the body? So detox is the solution?

I have not "dieted" a single day since I found RPD, yet I have lost one hundred pounds. Talking about weight loss as an objective would be misleading. Talking about RPD is all that needs to be done.

Your weight loss is pretty impressive!

What I am advocating is that people be allowed to say their main objective is weight loss. Members here may then help them see how to achieve that objective through the RPD way.

Reducing sizes (and related health problems) will benefit everyone, at least in USA. Our health insurance expenses are pretty high..

GS, what would you say are the most helpful foods for curing  eczema? A friend of mine has persistent mild eczema on the neck area. He has been eating all raw (or almost all raw) from high-quality foods for months but the eczema persists. He is willing to eat raw shrimps/salmon/beef/chicken heart/bone marrow, but not other organs. Which of the five afore-mentioned foods is most healing for eczema?  Is there any fruit/vegi/nuts/seeds he should stay away from?

All moderators, I do appreciate your hard work to maintian this forum.

Dorothy, It is not overweight people are mocked. It is more that weight loss as an objective is sometimes dismissed as a non-issue, which does not encourage people to bring up this issue again. But let us close this discussion. I do not want to pinpoint any thread.

Iguana, let me see if I understand you correctly about GCB:

(1) He does not think he has ever committed a crime against underage children through raping or seducing them.

(2) He does acknowledge he has had sex with consenting children for the maximum physical and emotional pleausre of both parties at that moment, even though that might cause dis-pleasure to his wife and his blood children and maybe even to the afore-mentioned underage children later on.

(3) Even though he emphasizes enjoying maximum pleasure on the animal level, he does use his trans-animal intellect to justify and glorify his sex with multiple children.

Am I correct?

When I was young I had woman boss for a while that constantly was telling me that I was too skinny. She was trying to make herself feel better about her own weight so I never responded but one day I just had it and told her that I measured myself and that I was 36, 26, 36 and asked her if that wasn't considered the ideal for women - which most thought it was at that time according to tabloids etc. At least I got ONE of the "I know what's best for you"s to shut up!

Dorothy, I see you had keen insight into her emotional/mental state but you showed little compassion.  ;D

I can’t tell exactly what is GCB’s proportion of fat versus carbohydrates, but it is probably more carb than fat — at least in volume and weight — just like mine. It’s difficult to find good sources of clean animal fat here in France. As I said, the wild animals don’t have much fat and only pigs have a lot. Some raw paleo friends who were staying at my place last winter brought half of a pig grown by their father and fed mainly acorns. It’s fat was delicious and we ate plenty during about a month. But when we don’t mix it with muscle meat, we can’t eat very much at once. If we systematically mix it or transgress the instinctive feelings, we may easily override our digestive capacity and thus have digestive difficulties and/or other delayed troubles.

Otherwise, I like very much marrow, but seldom find enough.

If you have no appetite for it, then it is probably that you currently don’t need much of it. Things change with time according to our fluctuating needs, which you’re the only one to know exactly.

In France visitors can’t bring food to a prisoner and it’s forbidden to send them food supplies. During months he was thus deprived of the right to receive food from friends visiting him and had to survive on the scarce raw plant foods he found and bought at the prison canteen. He almost died of starvation twice until an expert came and said that as this man has eaten 100% raw for 40 years, he really needed  to be able to continue to eat raw and thus should be allowed to receive food from the exterior. Fearing for his life, we even alerted Amnesty International, but they didn’t care.

Thanks, Iguana.

Did GCB plead guilty to the raping children charge (or some other accusation)?

Eveheart, Obviously my posts are not regarding you. You are content with your size. My posts speak  about those who are not content with their large size and are seeking help.

As for "unfairly", I do not view being deprived of sunlight and good food as being part of a prison-sentence. Being locked up is one thing, but other stuff designed to kill you off at an earlier age is not acceptable.

So should we deliver 100% grass-fed bison, raw oysters,  and organic berries to prison kitchens using tax payers' money?

Dorothy, you stated the issue so much better than I did. :)

It is true that being overweight would have to be one of the most important discussion on a diet forum with Americans participating.

Obesity underlines so many chronical health problems, not to mention mental self-hatred and emotional anguish, which does not contribute to a wholesome society. If RP solves many health issues, it should help solve weight problem. So I hope  this forum will kindly welcome people who come expressly to seek help for their overweight problem.

It was just that it was this person's first post Joy me-thinks. Not, Hi - I am into raw paleo etc. etc. It does look like spam.

Actually I am not focusing on this thread. I have seen several times on this forum that people are instantly told to shut up when they talk about losing weight.

Overweight people harbor a lot of shame because of the negative silent comments they receive daily. They are easily shut up. Since this forum aims at helping people improving health and never shunning away discussions about the truths about health,  I think the overweight issue--the number one health problem in US--should be allowed to be brought up on this forum and meet the same kind of respect and support other health issues meet.

Iguana, good that we have a member here who has first-hand knowledge of GCB.

What is GCB's consumption of fat versus carbo? A good number of members here promote eating much fat. I do not find I have a big appetite for fat. In fact, since I try to go instincto (i.e., no mixing of food items and no spices), I have close to zero appetite for raw unadulterated animal fat. So I am interested in knowing GCB's idea (and your idea) on fat consumption versus carbo.

Iguana, thank you for the pictures. How old was GCB in 2009? Does he have any illness?

Will you say that he eats much fruit?

GCB considers much land-animal food as not optimal, right? So does he favor more seafood than land-animal food?

Spammer?

In US  the most serious health problem (or root problem) is obesity. I suggest that this forum be more sympathetic and supportive  to people plagued with this health problem.

Not that I am lobbying for myself. I am petite.

What  truly amazed me was one  recent photo Iguana showed of GCB, in which GCB noticeably looked much younger than Aajonus despite being much older than him...

Where is the photo, please? Or just a recent photo of GCB?

Thanks for the information. So it looks like Sprouts beef is indeed 100% grass-fed.

So Sprouts' 100% grass-fed beef is not genuinely 100% grass-fed?

Their diet is not close to raw paleo as practiced on this forum. What do you think of that?

I feel really good from salads - unlike so many here - and I really love to eat salads and nibble from my garden.

Dorothy, do you like salads or do you like raw vegetables without any sauce/oil?  The instincto people on this forum seem to advocate eating raw vegetables (and raw animal foods) without any sauce. That is when I find most vegetables unappetizing, except for broc. stems, lettuce hearts, baby colorful peppers, and cherry tomatoes.  If we are talking about salads--vegetables with my favorite home-made sauces, that is quite another matter.

To be fair, I also cut down drastically on my animal foods consumption if I do not add any sauces.  What is left is fruit...lots of fruit!   Maybe this is just a transition period....

Thanks to all who have contributed to this thread by sharing your knowledge and experience, with a little fun bickering.

Dorothy, I ask this question because I do not like to eat raw vegetables in general--except for broccoli stems  ;)   and a couple of other items. I want to know if I could stop worrying about eating my share of raw vegetables.  (BTW, I love cooked vegetables. But I do not eat them anymore except when invited to friends' home-made meals.)

I will go and taste his raw broccoli stems and get back to you guys here.

Be sure to peel off the outer rough parts of the stems.  The slender stems closest to the flowering part are the most sweet and tender...I am fighting for the reputation of broccoli stems. ;)

Isn't an all-animal-foods diet (or mostly-animal-foods diet) too acid (I am talking about pH balance)?
