Carnivorous / Zero Carb Approach / Re: We are faunivore!
« on: May 09, 2011, 09:32:30 am »
I'm confused after reading the topic.

What are we supposed to eat?
1) 100% fauna aka animals and no plants or fruits?
2) 50%+ fauna aka animals and no plants and some fruit
3) Or 50%+ fauna aka animals no fruit and some plants
4) Plants and fruit and animals?
etc?

My advice is to go cold turkey raw paleo diet, and quit . Use will power and train yourself not to cave, don't feel bad if you do, just continue eating raw.

To prevent infection:

1) Get eating Raw paleo diet
2) Get lots of minerals, and fats, specially marrow. And eat lots of organs.
3) Have a bit of garlic and onion daily(you'll wreak but it's worth it) in this time before it.
4) Have lots of high meat, bacteria work so you don't get an infection.

My badly damaged molar had just broken off a side filling.
I'll wait and see if it is true that raw paleo diet can restore my tooth.

I saw in posts recently teeth do like grow back or restore, regenerate w/e on RPD. I hope it grows back! I hate the dentist!

If I were trapped in a cage or a place and fed and not eat for myself and had my balls cut off i'd be pretty pissed off and miserable.

We are animals. We are treating other animals badly. Zoos are hell. I never want to go to one again.

Try gundru:

Interesting, I can see why they did it with brassica family only since it's practically indigestible at first raw, I heard the brassica was bred from an ingestible plant which is why. I avoid brassica though for that reason.

I did this when I was still stumbling along detox protocols.
Found that herbal colon cleansers were more effective.

Is there a way to colon/intestine cleanse on your own with foods like:

Ginger
Garlic
Onions
Liver
etc or a combination

General Discussion / Re: Rotten shark
« on: April 24, 2011, 06:47:19 am »
Reminds me of the chlorine cleanse a person did to detox themselves and smelled of chlorine for days or how people smell of garlic for days.

The same with ammonia where people drink urine and smell of ammonia or urine (ammonia is in urine) for days.

Looks like high meat with simply another attribute to it to me. Though if I did it i'd let the shark simply hang for a few days.  But a nice delicacy none the less.

But is there so much ammonia i'd die? Scary...:(

General Discussion / High/Rotten Plants
« on: April 24, 2011, 06:01:23 am »
Is it possible to make high plants( like vegetables and fruits too like in the High Fruit topic).

Like to put a fruit or veggie in a jar and let it sit, or to let a fruit or vegetable rot and get slimy or bruisey on its own like the rotten veg or fruit at the store and eat it.

Or let me put it like this, has anyone eaten rancid, rotten, or overripened (maybe fermented is the word) plants like fruits, veggies, garlic/ginger/onions(paleo roots), etc?

Health / Re: How to Use Papaya Seeds for Deworming
« on: April 24, 2011, 05:08:17 am »
Why can't you chew the seeds? I am aware that eating whole seeds can cause diverticulitis (where seeds can get stuck in pockets of the intestines, causing inflammation).

Have you heard about large doses of papaya seeds causing infertility in male monkeys?

I have heard of the papaya seed's ability to rid the body of parasites

Yes Papaya seeds help with parasites and eczema i've heard if ground and rubbed on skin as a remedy?

And like he said can you chew the seeds GoodSamaritan?

Hot Topics / Re: Raw Eggs causing baldness a myth??
« on: April 21, 2011, 05:36:50 am »
Raw egg whites will cause baldness cause the avidin in it binds biotin leading to biotin deficiency leading to baldness if eaten long term.

This is why we only eat egg yolks, egg whites have avidin and enzyme inhibitors. Egg yolks are good.

How about room temperature fat, or fat always kept at room temperature cause cold food makes digestion harder since the stomach works good on room temp/warm food.

There are some fields within a few km, but, no, they don't spray pesticides anywhere near the garlic.

Awesome and yum, I hope I stumble upon a foresty/woody area to go foraging soon!

I've just been walking through a sparsely forested area, sort of open woodland, and have been gorging myself on raw garlic leaves. There were acres upon acres of the stuff.

Do they spray pesticides in that area?

General Discussion / Re: Ants: The Other Something Meat
« on: April 18, 2011, 11:04:11 am »
Yeah I was moving some cut wood a couple days ago and I looked down and saw a few different varieties of grubs (all pastured, organic and free range!  ;) ) So without even giving myself much time to think about it I popped one in my mouth, after saying thanks, and to my surprise there was a pleasant, crisp, moist pop and then some crunching and some mildly sweet creamy flavor and nothing repulsive about it at all! So then I saw a meal worm, not the spindly ones you see in the pet shop, 'meatworm' is more accurate, and again, saying thanks, I indulged and my my, delicious! A bit of a nut flavor, creamy, crunchy, and nothing gross flavorwise about it. I highly recommendo our little grubby friends, but they're also very beneficial for decomp so go easy on them if you can! haha I'm thinking lay's slogan here, 'bet you can't eat just one!'

You said it was organic? OMG do they sell these? I wanna get insects into my diet! I can't forage around my area (NYC) cause of all the pesticides and stuff.
