Just wondering if one can buy already prepared high meat i.e the aged eggs or  fermented fish in a market to save having to do it oneself?

I live in the Philippines.  Maybe you can look into the Filipino community for:

Bagoong:
- fermented fish (salty)
- fermented small shrimp (salty)
- fermented oysters (salty)
- many people swear this stinks, but I like the smell.
- squeeze a lemon on top to kill the saltiness

Remember to get uncooked / raw.
If you eat in a restaurant, they will traditionally cook the bagoong before serving.

below are fermented plant foods.

Organic Vinegar (suka)
- sukang tuba (coconuts)
- sukang iloko (sugarcane)
- sukang nipa (nipa is a kind of plant fruit)

Atsara
- this is young papaya with some onions, garlic, carrots
- fermented in organic vinegar as above

Didn't pastrami and many other meats used to be raw originally?  Where can the raw ones be bought nowadays?  I've never thought to have a clue.  I did look over meats in a nice health food store nearby, but the uncured meats there were cooked according to the manufacturers.

I liked coriander seed, fennel seed and red pepper flakes/seeds that were always typically used in these preparations.  Are spices paleo?  I still like the smell of ground fennel seed.
