Hmm I'm drinking 'Brita' filtered tap water. I'm no expert though on what source of water is best.
I'd think it's best to have meat/fat/water as your base. That is solid. Your base should not include carbs. You don't need to eat fruit/veg/carbs. But if you don't notice any problem with raw carbs/fruit/veg(excluding legumes, grains, anything else like that), and you feel you want it, not because you think you need it, then you should just eat it. As long as meat/fat/water is your base, if you ever do notice correlation between when you consume fruit carbs(because you want to) and any negative effects, then you can act on that. However, you do not need to consume them. There's nothing you need in raw carb sources(i.e. fruit), it should not make any improvement to your health, but it is a source of energy.
