So Sully, what you have you been up to since you have returned from the farm in Oregon? Are you planning to attend college in the fall?Hey man! Sorry I haven't been able to reply soon as I can. First time I checked this in a while.
I have become a lamb slayer, and have eaten all but one of my friends unwanted males. You are eating good indeed!
The heads are accumulating, I also buy extra heads from the butcher shop.
Tongue and brains galore.
I just found a fresh deer carcass, a young male still with spots. I have been eating good.
My butcher also gave me ten pounds of lamb fat, so I should be set for the next week.
and home grown seeded grapes. So delicious!Concord grapes? I just had some today. I picked some wild grapes, started talking to an old man who had concord grape vines, he gave me some for free. Where he lives now used to be his family farm. Now it's a neighborhood. He talked about working as a young man. And eating two cups of fresh raw milk and cream before starting chores. He knows about the food industry and how things have gone down hill. He remembers when the butter was yellow here, then they started adding yellow food coloring when feeding the cows mainly grains, now people don't care and are used to white butter. Also we talked about the egg yolks of chickens fed mainly grains, pale yellow color. And the nice bright orange color of free range eggs.
Shooting my bow at a target from different postures and distances. Climbing trees for plumbs, which is quite skeletal-muscle-tiring when hanging for extended periods in awkward positions to reach the ripe ones. Swimming up, down and across a pretty wide river. Kayaking around the same river, doing rolls and stuff. Played English vs Indian football match by the river, English won... Ah yeah and I walk about a mile with my kayak on my shoulder to get to and from the river as well.Wow, nice Miles! Awesome workout!!!
Hey Sully, there is a concern though. Just way out the cincerns and see if it is wortyh it. In my case there was little concern. Not so in other cases with urban wild animals
In regard to that goose you caught with your hands: were you concerned about the diet of the goose and the effect on the animal?
Here in Reno, Nevada there is a huge goose, duck, and loon population and I have been thinking about capturing one to eat. My only concern is the animal's diet; the geese and duck here are fed bread and scraps by humans and they could have been eating garbage for all I know. Should this be a concern? Should animals living in close contact with humans be avoided entirely?
Sully, I think you mean "re-edited," instead of "redited."Oh yeah, thanks for the correction, I was wondering how to spell taht out.
Hey Sully,No I am not concerned. Unless bread was fed in excess. But in my case the geese were fed very little to none. I saw the geese grazing on grasses maybe eating bugs. The fat was a yellowish color. Even if fed a little bread they still get mainly wild food, unless people feed loads evryday. I would be more concerned with meats in the store.

Interesting video. You look very fit and trim!!Thank you.
Hi Sully, You're looking amazing as usual. Ah, to be young.....Thanks Lex.
I did the interview with Joanne and was pretty pleased with it. She wanted to do a full Skype Video interview but I don't have the equipment for that and my internet connection is rather slow so she had to settle for audio only. I'm glad people are finding it valuable. I try to be honest and state the good as well as the bad. This way people can better make up their own minds.
