I love adding my sea salt!

Yes. Organic means nothing. Grassfed > organic.

I would just put the raw cheese on raw beef. Or eat with slices of prosciutto.

Fitday has all foods raw or cooked. I have no idea what you are talking about. I eat the majority of my VLC diet foods raw, and I use Fitday. I have only 2 custom foods because everything I eat is in the database.

I'm a bodybuilder too, and I don't consume eggshells (though I am not opposed to the idea). I get plenty of Vitamin D and K2 from grassfed butter, pastured eggs and fish. I get lots of weight baring exercise. The RDA of calcium is set artificially high because the SAD diet, which is grain heavy, makes calcium absorption more difficult, and also takes calcium and other minerals from the bones. I think too much calcium is a bad idea--it is my opinion based on studies, etc. that calcium and calcification leads to heart disease (not saturated fat and cholesterol).

31
Use fitday.

Do weight baring exercise and get adequate Vitamin D and K2 from fish and grassfed dairy. I don't worry about calcium at all, especially in relevance to bone density.

The sweetbreads are delicious. I hate the taste of lamb, but sweetbreads have no taste--so you can add "flavor" to them.  I eat my grassfed beef/bison raw, but like to warm organs in the pan with a cover (just warm or searing). Sweetbreads taste great with sea salt and grassfed butter.

Beef heart is the best organ meat ever...and beef tongue!

klowcarb - do you get your ground grass-fed beef and bison from a particular place that you trust? Do you know that they are grinding it just from one animal? Do you use sauces?

It does sound really simple.

I get the grassfed from Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. No sauces, but I've recently been adding nutrient dense spices like oregano, basil, etc. I don't need them for flavor, but I add them for nutrients. I use sea salt, coconut oil and butter.

35
Love sea salt.

36
My current organs are: pork heart, beef heart, lamb pancreas, beef tongue and calf/beef liver. I rotate these with eggs, and the main part of the one meal is grassfed beef or organic bison, raw.

It is great for those who are sendentary. Not me. I need a lot of protein and calories. Plus, unless you are eating a lot of organ meats, I see major nutrient deficiencies.

38
I just eat raw grassfed ground beef or bison every day. Easy and delicious.

I got Lasik in September 2006. I paid for it myself--it was $5,000 at the time. Best money I ever spent and I would do it a million times over.

Who cares?

Omnivorous Raw Paleo Diet / Re: Nuts VS Meats

Grains: Seed
Nuts and Seeds: Seed
Legumes: Practically Seed

I save the seeds for the birds, their digestive systems were built for it. Humans not really.

This is perfect.

Most of them are overweight, and none of them are athletes really or look that good. Rabbit starvation is eating too much protein. That is not their issue. Their issue is fatty muscle meat only.

44
If you want to go ZC then you probably shouldn't eat organs.  They are high in sugar, thus high in carbs.

Zero carb doesn't literally mean zero. I eat TONS of organs and sometimes I get up to 10 grams of carbs a day from eggs, organs and spices. I am Zero Carb. There are no SUGARS in organ meats.

45
Grassfed butter makes me so happy.

46
I eat Trader Joe's 85/15 grassfed GB.

47
Every day I have either liver, heart or tongue as part of my one meal a day.

Take raw beef liver and cut into bite size pieces. Dip in coconut oil.

I also eat heart and tongue. So good, but I sear them. Delicious on their own, or with grassfed butter on top.

If that's the case then I don't see why not. I wonder why I haven't seen the zero carbers talk about it. Katelyn, did you ever see it mentioned at ZIOH?

On that nazi board? They found eggs to be carbs. Let us stop referring to ZIOH as being "zero carb" and more like "muscle meat only." It is not MY diet.

I am 15%. I consider that very healthy for an athletic female.
