Apparently it's a pretty ghastly cannibal film, not exactly pro raw meat, still interesting.

The plot is a vegetarian goes to veterinary school where during a hazing ritual she is forced to eat meat and afterwards discovers she has an insatiable craving for raw flesh.

I'm not sure why he got banned but all of his videos were removed. Not sure if you have been following the story but YouTube has been using various methods in an attempt to censor it's website. I am not sure what rules MILKJAR broke but it is certainly a shame in either case.

Sounds like you need more fat from what you said earlier. I most eat 20% fat ground beef or fatty cuts like chuck roast, short ribs, Delmonico when I can get them. Lean cuts just aren't satisfying, lean ground beef is not satisfying like 20-25% fat beef.

There is a blossoming mainstream concept that any grains, beans or nightshades including potatoes should be avoided at all cost because they contain lectins which can lead to leaky gut syndrome. Cassava is another must be cooked tuber that is even cheaper than potatoes and higher in calories while having a lower score on the glycemic index. 46 to 85 to be exact.

Grizzly bears can smell your food. Luckily they don't really like to live where it's wet during the winter time, I guess they don't want to get muddy? Generally black bears are skittish and can be scared away easily.

40 days and 40 nights could have easily happened and probably did, as the North American Glacier was melting, it first part to melt in the north would have been Hudson Bay as it would have been sitting on top of water, which could have then transformed into a massive lake held in by and Ice damn blocking off the NW Passage which would have eventually broken causing a massive world wide tidal wave/flood.

At the bison ranch where I worked we stored the steaks in a fridge for three weeks inside their packages before freezing them to promote tenderness and flavor. I personally inspected them to make sure nothing was turning green. The fridge was sealed for the three week period, set to the coldest temperature and was inside a Rubbermaid type container storage unit if I remember correctly the fridge vent was piped out of the box. There is a discussion somewhere on this forum where it is discussed that refrigerated meat kept at a very cold temperature of at least 35 degrees Fahrenheit will keep for months. That said, usually any premium meat product is USUALLY frozen and thawed by the store where it is sold. I have seen some groceries selling the same product frozen and unfrozen and charging more for the unfrozen product!!!

34
It's totally possible. Beef can be held over for 3 weeks before being frozen or even longer. NZ government heavily subsidizes their airlines to facilitate exportation of their products as they have 7 cows and 300 sheep for every man woman and child in the country unless the statistics have shifted.

I have heard claim that the body can process fat and protein into sugar however the brain needs so much carbs it is very difficult for the body to process all of it's needed carb from protein or fat so a minimum of 20% of diet should be made up of carbs. Also so called "bad bugs" may be responsible for excess fat, eating less food, increasing micronutrients and eating prebiotic food as well as probiotic may provide the results needed along with extra burning calories.

It's not belief in marketing, it's zealot like belief in the advancement of science. People are dissatisfied with what they imagine to be their fate, they believe science can achieve anything and are basically waiting for science to produce a silver bullet to morally absolve man of his sins, they fail to see the technology and knowledge already exists. They fail to see their society is corrupted by corporate influence. It's similar in my experience to Alex Jone's "Goblin People". They are not interested in actually holding a real conversation, they believe themselves to be preaching the gospel on high, they shout down any descent to their assumptions with ridicule and insult, they obscure the truth to foster their own enterprise. They are intellectual elitists who worship a game that was created to trick them into subservience.

I truly love Icelandic sheep, I believe they have more healing properties than typical sheep. It is a 1300 year old breed that is supposedly never hybridized descendants from original European sheep. I believe most sheep breeds besides Nordic type sheep like Icelandics are hybridized with middle eastern desert type sheep.

Usually planting large acreages is extremely uneconomical and most species die out within a few years, however there are methods to incorporate certain seeds into your landscape with animal grazing and frost seeding otherwise preparing a seed bed is very expensive, they say the least profitable thing ranchers do is farm. I said that while domesticated grasses yielded more, native herbs yielded more milk.

41
Reducing the toxicity of vegetables obviously have some merit however a lot of people are sensitive to these foods and the reduced toxicity may mask the damage in such a way you are unaware you are actually poisoning yourself.

42
Even a majority of the plants cattle graze on in USA are domesticated invasive species. It is theorized grasses bred for higher yield and palatability are lower in micronutrients and minerals than wild pastures, possibly causing increased parasite infection in livestock and weaker immune systems. A study was done many years ago I believe in the 40's planting pasture with native European weeds and comparing the preference and production of a herd of cattle grazing a field of that compared to a field of 5 domesticated grass species. Although the weed covered field lowered overall production of food, cows produced more milk when grazing on herbs and would do anything they could to get out of the domesticated plot.

General Discussion / Re: Not having fun anymore

I have seen some pretty crazy stuff man, talking about it to people, seems to make them think I'm a crazy person. Talking to a therapist never seemed to help much. It always seemed like I had real problems, certainly not imaginary ones and I don't like to look at myself as a victim, but I was hospitalized 9 times. I have never kept a job I don't believe much longer than 7 months, I gain anxiety and do not feel I am able to do a good enough job and generally quit and have been fired. I had some great working experiences, great references, worked on bison ranch to flower farm, to orchard, dairy, beef, you name it. I shepherded animals for 7 years without vacation. I am talented. Where can I live where I can raise animals in peace, afford it and help my community foster a more positive future, so we can live longer happier more productive lives?

General Discussion / Not having fun anymore
« on: August 21, 2017, 03:27:56 am »
I believe in raw diet, raw paleo. I haven't always been able to afford it. It's not even that it's not that affordable but my decisions as well as life experiences have made it difficult to maintain a stable income. It is not easy to find work and it is generally highly taxing for the recuperation. It is difficult while working to feed myself properly.

I am 30 now, I feel more than ever life is short. I do not feel excepted by society, I feel as if I have been treated as a curry leaf. Maybe this is my fault as I find it difficult to accept society.

I was never much of a fan of Trump, but I have been listing to conservative talking points and our president. Has anyone read his speech to the boy scouts? This is the thinking that humans need to be successful, I believe. The fact that the majority of Americans railed against it, rail against all of his talking points, is to me showing a deep cynicism and a lack of hopefulness for our human potential. It is difficult to be motivated with what appears to be malice all around you. It is difficult to live in America when there is almost no community of substance, when the communities would rather make your life so miserable and expel you rather than treating you like a neighbor. It is very difficult for those with small families of poor inheritance. I have always tried to keep an optimistic stance, I find being negative only worsens the problem, however when I really think back about all the facts, I am fucking depressed man, woman.

How do I find the community I need to thrive in life. How do I find positive opportunities that can sustain me and I am able to accomplish and take care of myself at the same time. For most it seems so easy, I do not fully understand why it is so difficult for myself. There are many sides to the story. I am so frustrated, I feel I have lost so much opportunity that was and is my life.

I am fucking hungry man. It's not fuckin fun. I'm hoping to go soon to work on my friends farm from near where I grew up. I had so many successes, but my failures have been devastating. I suffer from PTSD. It really sucks when you remember a time of when how sharp you used to be, and later events make you so angry it actually distorts the chemical makeup of your brain and causes you to have violent thoughts when you used to have none. I have a lot of hope for the future. I believe and agree with what GS and Sabertooth have to say most often. I see people drop dead all the time, I feel I have been in danger of that much of my life and it was only agriculture that saved my life. I also see fantastical possibilities beyond anyone I talk to have almost any concept of which I can explain to them with words.

I have to go back and learn from these experiences, it is difficult to remember all of them at once. I supposed I should try to write a book, it is embarrassing to me though as few generally seem interested in listening to what I have to say, it is so difficult to find comradery and even solidarity, much less people who actually agree with a large percentage of your beliefs and ideas.

I have a very negative father, I feel has almost never agreed with me or trusted me with anything really meaningful. He has always blamed me for my mistakes. It is indescribable how painful it feels to write this, to think these thoughts. I feel like I had so much potential. I am very afraid now to try new things, to venture out to work at new opportunities, as I have always struggled to take care of myself properly while helping other people for not sufficient pay for a healthy diet. I supposed part of my problem is I always wanted to save money to have a brighter future more than spend all my money on food. When I had animals it allowed me to be healthy but the drama associated with dealing with other people and not having support with my own operation ultimately created a failure in my health, mental health and ability to continue. When you are struck by tragedy, if you are supported by those around you, you are truly blessed as it is not always easy to find a helping hand.

My plans are loosely to go to my friends farm near where I grew up, to help him around the farm for pay and I'll be able to afford 3 pounds of raw grass fed beef a day easily and more. He is hoping to get goats, cows, pigs, sheep next year. He already has a small hatchery going and a bunch of poultry laying eggs. I am contemplating getting my bartending license, as that would support a decent income. I am contemplating applying for disability, as this would provide me with a support system that would allow me to invest in my agricultural projects. I am contemplating moving to India or Nepal or anywhere that has more entrepreneur opportunities than the united states, which is rated low compared to many countries.

Not everything is bad, I have an acre to work on and grow tropical fruit trees. I have 20 or so I started this year from seed and also 7 I bought in pots. Mamey sapote, Mexican type avacados, custard apples, jack fruit, breadnut, bananas, passion fruit, jujube, tons of mangoes and more. It is funny because despite being so emotional and feeling needy, I am always reminded of how much I have going for me, and how much I have to be grateful for. It sort of creates a false narrative, because I think it causes me to casually lie to myself, as I have failed through my adult life to keep up with the upkeep that is taking care of myself while working on tremendous projects.

I'm sorry for spreading emotionality, for being negative, I am sorry for not being more successful. I am sorry to post something like this on the forum. I post because it is difficult for me to post anything else, it is difficult for me to post when I do not have good news to report. I am sorry, if you see me here, wallowing like a beached animal, it's just, I feel like I have so much to offer. I don't want to be a curry leaf to the people in my life any more.

My friend makes this stuff, might be hard to beat for the price. https://emineral.info/HHF/dr-olrees-grand-unified-mineral-complex/

It has cod liver oil in it, not purported to be raw. Also yeast based selenium which may be one of the best sources of selenium and thorvin kelp.

I realize it doesn't follow the guidelines of this forum but I think it is a good economic value and useful for those wanting to make sure they are eating a balanced diet on a budget.

I think it's pretty good honestly because it is based on a similar ideology to what I read in Pat Colby's Natural Animal Care. Basically that no supplemental minerals are ideal and most of them should come from the food, however making the most simple forms of minerals available to your animals is the best and most economic way to ensure your animals do not have mineral deficiencies which will also help prevent nutritional shortfalls of macro nutrients.

It's funny from my perspective because compared to American fast food it is not fast food at all, the standards of American fast food are so low by comparison that it is hardly food at all but more of a synthetically derived approximation of food. Those kebab outlets are pretty much what most consider healthy food restaurants in America lol.

General Discussion / Eating enough food.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/04/09/the-rock-diet-10-pounds-of-food_n_7031122.html

I stumbled upon a blurb about how much Dwayne eats. I'm 6'9" and lost a lot of weight last winter. Stress levels got to me and I surely wasn't eating enough food as I became so nervous and it reduced my apatite. But good god I don't think maybe there was only one time in my life for perhaps a year I was eating almost enough food for my size. I am making it a priority to rapidly increase my diet volume over the next year, it may be the only way to save a sinking ship.

Im glad this is getting some attention, and can testify to the horrible condition of jail food, which is typically worse than most school and hospital foods.

Jail food is no laughing matter, and the threat of being forced to eat unjust foods served by lady justice has really motivated me to curb my "criminal" inclinations. As much as I would feel a calling to do so, I will not be leading an overt assault against our corporate overlords, anytime soon, not because I am afraid of committing a felony while fighting for what I believe in, but because I will do anything to avoid being forced to eat what they call food in jail!

I had to spend a week in jail over an unpaid traffic ticket last year, and was put on suicide watch because I wouldn't eat the food. The guards tried to be nice and brought me some raw eggs, but the one I tried tasted like moldy grain and chlorine and I refused to eat any. Everything there is poisoned.... you are forced to shower in delousing chemicals, given a care pack with antibacterial laced everything. Even the water is drugged with extra high fluoride. The florescent lighting is on 24 hours a day, and inmates are often denied access to the outside and sunlight. Its almost like the criminal justice system has been designed as a cruel and unusual punishment.

My experience at the hospital for a day was really shocking to me. I was awoken because my grandmother had developed a bad nosebleed and despite my resignation and protest off we went. I feel that the place is actually designed to kill people. They won't let you sleep for more than an hour, TV's blaring all night, extra bright metal halides on all night, nurses obviously doped up, almost everyone is sitting behind a computer, only one person available for help. 2 weeks later my gran still had translucent patches on her face from what basically amounted to hospital inflicted injuries.

Jail was pretty bleak but I couldn't really believe I was there so the whole experience was rather dreamlike, luckily I wasn't there long enough to get offered any food.
