Some of the problems that you have described could be caused by food allergies. Try an elimination diet. Take away dairy, egg white, and nuts and see if you feel better. My skin breakouts did not stop until I stopped eating all of these.

You say that honey and dried fruit makes you feel better. Are you sure? I used to have a fruit addiction because I felt like I needed sugar since it provided that temporary lift.

That's interesting! I was looking for something like that to give me an idea of what milk would be best. I am now more motivated to start drinking raw milk once arriving in Switzerland.
Europe usually has the higher A2 breeds. In the US, it's almost all Holstein. Switzerland probably has Brown Swiss cows :P. If you don't have leaky intestine and bad digestion, you should be able to tolerate the smaller amounts of A1 protein.

What's A1 milk and how do you know if your milk is A1?

http://www.windsordairy.com/articles/a1-and-a2-milk.html

Here is a good reference.

A1 milk is more likely to form opoids when digested. I don't drink any milk now, but I remember that I felt dependent on A1 milk. I did not have the same feeling with A2.

I do try to get all my needs from food. Unfortunately, I need these now because of malabsorption issues.

I knew it wasn't raw, but I wanted to see if bone broth could be possible source of easily absorbed minerals for me. I haven't had it before in my RPD period. I started to get a mild headache after drinking a little, so I stopped. I won't do that again for sure.

My eyes used to be very sensitive to sunlight. I had a walk around solar noon and did not feel any discomfort. Glad to know some nutritional deficiencies are being resolved.

Those photos are so revolting-looking they seem like pro-RZC propaganda.
It actually looks pretty good.  :(

Exposing wealthy individuals for tax evasion... I don't see what is wrong with this. It's not fair if they don't pay their fair share, if everyone else has to.

I'm all for lowering taxes to reduce the influence of government, but it is just not fair for everyone else if the wealthy can be exempt from the system.

This is more for knowledge purposes. I just wanted to have a better understanding of exactly what plant foods our ancestors had available to eat. I can't think of many wild plant foods that would have be edible at that time. Perhaps civilization has made these foods less prominent? ??? Extinction of wild varieties?

Do any of you happen to have a reference to which fruits and vegetables found commonly in the supermarket have remained relatively unchanged from their original form? Meaning not excessively changed through artificial selection.

I'd be more worried about chemicals on the floor.
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they used bleach or other industrial solvents.

That's Durianrider's problem as well. Very few people can eat more than 20 bananas a day, much less 70 a day lol.

I think the fact that he is an athlete enables him to control his insulin levels while eating massive amounts of sugar. Being sedentary and being on that diet would be terrible. Or maybe he is a bloody liar and cheats on his diet and only does this promotional work because it elevates him into some sort of messiah status like cult leaders.

Hahaha XD. It must have been an awkward conversation. Ignorance is bliss.

I have been on the raw paleo diet for 3 weeks now. I want to keep track of any changes I notice, so I made this thread.

Current Diet

Animal foods: All possible organs/fats/muscle, egg yolk
Vegetable: Fermented cabbage (Will probably juice low carb vegetables in the future)
Fruit: Avocado
No nuts/dairy

Supplements (Many of these help with asperger's syndrome)

Betaine HCL with pepsin - 3 X 650mg every meal
Digestive enzymes - 1 pill every meal
Acidophilus - 2 billion organisms
Ionic zinc liquid - 50mg with 2mg copper (For pyroluria/proper zinc/copper balance)
Ionic magnesium liquid - 400mg
Pyridoxal 5 phosphate (For perpetual vitamin b6 deficiency/pyroluria) - 50mg (I have dream memory again!)
Molybdenum (copper toxicity and reduction of effects of acetylaldehyde from yeast) - 500mcg
N-acetyl-cysteine (for more glutathionine and metallothionine) -1000mg
Vitamin C (increase effectiveness of NAC) - 2000mg
Cod liver oil (Poor Delta-6-Desaturase function) - 1tsp
Borage oil (Poor Delta-6-Desaturase function) - yielding 300mg GLA
Vitamin D 5000IU

Week 1: I introduced foods one by one. I started with ground beef then proceeded with muscles and organs. I found myself hungry all the time because I wasn't yet enjoying what I was eating, and also because I did not have a reliable source of fat. Intense eczema flared in the middle of the week; it subsided after 3 days.

Week 2: The taste of raw animal foods became enjoyable. I generally felt good this week. Dairy was eliminated this week as a precautionary measure. My appetite was still not very strong but I did not feel hungry.

Week 3: My appetite increased and eventually my digestive system was not able to handle the protein load. I had stomach pains from indigestion and lost about 3 pounds from not eating enough. The digestive enzymes and the acidophilus pill I was taking was not enough, so I started using betaine HCL which helped A LOT. I take 3 650mg caps with meals and feel great. I had weak eczema that slowly started to increase in strength. I eliminated egg whites and it has stopped flaring.

I have learned that biotin is important for the proper function of Delta 6 Desaturase. Deficiency can be caused by intestinal dysbiosis which I have. I am awaiting my biotin supplement and will see how I respond to it.

I ate some raw buffalo fat, spleen, fermented cabbage, and avocado for dinner.

I liked the spleen. It sort of tastes like fresh sea urchin to me. XD It is very slimy so I found it hard to cut into smaller segments. Maybe my knife is really dull.

I can only eat yolks now. Apparently, I have become increasingly allergic to egg white. Curse leaky intestine. I shouldn't have eaten them every day. Argh. It sucks that I'm becoming allergic to almost every damn allergenic/stationary food on the planet.  >: At this rate I'll be eating only meat and fat for the rest of my life. :P

Plano, Texas: None detected.

My reaction:  ;D

Still I hate tap water. I drink Reverse Osmosis Water and I add liquid minerals back into it. There are no mountain springs of any kind here.

I often wonder how society will be in future. For example, will money even exist in the future? If the singularity, provided it happens, does make energy dirt cheap, and if technology creates more sophisticated machines to do the work that humans do, we won't really have a use for money at some point. There may be a point when humans don't have to perform maintenance on sophisticated machines because of being able to sustain themselves. Then, there goes the maintenance work for humans too.

The way I see it, technology is advancing to the point where real, personal freedom is potentially attainable within perhaps 50 years or less. For example, if solar power advances steadily as now, we will in 2 decades or 3 at most, be able to use solar power for free without having to pay electricity companies constantly for use of lights etc.. The Internet and Skype already make it possible to communicate across vast distances for free. If technology goes anywhere near the Singularity-threshold, we will certainly all be independent of government, of course, but I can see other ways right now:- I already know of a  number of RVAFers who have gone back to Nature and just live on a farm and get all their food from cattle/chickens/fruit-trees etc. they own.

If the whole idea about technological singularity is true, and if we are indeed able to free ourselves of biological limitations by merging with machines, what we do now will ultimately be pointless. :D However, I want to feel great in the meantime at least.  ;D

@Iguana
That wild boar meat looks like its a red meat but isnt pork kinda white?

Pure "grass-fed" or wild pork is red because of its diet. Grainfed pork is usually pale.

198
So as long as it had no contact with human civilization it should be okay, right? I know that hepatitis is a problem in conventionally raised pork. Is there any reason to believe wild ones can get such a disease? I'm still sort of debating with myself on whether or not I should eat scavengers. As long as boars are not eating meat scraps there isn't much worry for parasites. However, if they are truly wild, there is no guarantee.

How did you guys manage to conjure up the courage to try high meat the first time? I know that it is much easier after the first ordeal, but how do you get around that initial mental block?
