mercola has raw, grass-fed, high quality protein powder that tastes amazing, it's pretty expensive though

People just aren't thinking, they are being programmed by TV
My grandmother thinks socialized medicine is teh best tang evar.

What they think is happening...
Group contribution for the greater good so little poor children can be healthy.
If you oppose OC that means you hate both children and black people.

Reality...
Stealing money from all living within a certain area to give to the group of doctors whom are failing epically, but of course they think doctors are doing a great job keeping them alive on pills since their 50s.

They just don't want to see a bill when they get a boo boo so they take the bill every week and hire mercenaries...
Obamacare= stealing money to pay for drugs on an enormous scale... Damn crackheads have taken over democrazy
but people like me with medical problems need to be able to see doctors to figure out what's wrong, because raw diet is not curing me. It's not enough on its own. People who have chronic/undiagnosed illness need to be seen by the best doctors/medical systems in the world. I hate drugs and how the majority of doctors seem to only treat symptoms with drugs, but it's the medical system that you should hate and try to change, you shouldn't hate the fact that they're trying to give access to healthcare for everyone. People can't be expected to blood test themselves and research things like natural remedies, hormone boosters etc., not to mention have to be able to afford them.

anyone seen this? http://www.secondchanceranch.org/rawmyth.htm

the stuff about parasites being a major threat to wild carnivores, also saying it doesn't matter that enzymes are destroyed when cooking - which goes against the pottenger studies

I've read a lot of places that say that cooking meat makes it more digestible but when I eat raw meat my stomach doesn't even feel full... I just feel like I've had enough to eat yet I could still run miles and not upset my stomach.

I use raw paleo diet on my children to cure them of illness.

2 months straight to cure from tuberculosis
1 week to cure hand eczema
3-5 days for sever colds

Their regular diet is cooked paleo diet + organic rice / sweet potatoes.

weird... why the cooked food? especially since you've seen raw food give them great benefits...

fiber supplements have been totally useless to me. fiber from fruits and vegetables seems to make my digestive system have to work harder. IMO fiber hype is bullshit. IMO the less fiber the better.

I've had major digestive troubles for over 10 years and raw meat/fat digests perfectly and my stomach does not feel full after a big meal of raw meat/fat. High meat has eliminated every digestion problem for me. They only come back when I eat stuff(non-raw meat/fat stuff) my stomach can't seem to handle.

BTW I find it very unfortunate that there is so much negative info on nuts because for me they seem to digest just as good as raw meat, and I crave them a lot too :/

You need only natural fibrous diet to cop with constipation and no other treatment will make good.
That's not true for everyone.

and it doesn't sound like he's trying to cope with constipation, he just wants to clear out all food out of his digestive system quickly, sounds more like a flush to me.

btw, OP this works good for me http://www.curemanual.com/detox-protocols-and-treatments/liver-gall-bladder-flush/edwins-2-day-apple-juice-fast-liver-flush/ - you can skip the olive oil/lemon juice if you just want to flush out your intestines. Sometimes even the apple juice for 2 days alone will be enough.

raw milk changes a lot faster then raw meat, first all the fat separates to the top, and now mine after around 1-2 weeks later @ room temp seems to be turning into yogurt ^_^ - after I ate all the fat off the top

but yeah I'm pretty sure you can leave it out as long as you want, it'll just get predigested from the bacteria

My friend suggested that I mix it up, it is becoming more and more separated.  Do you think enough oxygen is getting to all parts of it without mixing it every few days?  Meat, for instance, I turn over every couple of days if I have it on a plate in the fridge.
I asked PaleoPhil a similar question about storing blood and anaerobic bacteria and I think he said I'd just have to test and see ._.
Whether it's jello-like or fluid, it seems like the same amount of oxygen would get to the different parts(unless it was ALL jello-like cubes). I don't see how it would be much different then milk though, which you can just let sit forever basically.

I turn my meat over too but only to make sure the other side drys as well. I've left meat in jars to get high for months and didn't mix those and had no ill effects from eating them. Of course if mixing your blood isn't a problem for you in any way then it's not gonna hurt...

So far drinking the blood gives me a boost, like raw liver.
Same. Also, I've noticed that raw milk seems hard to digest for me(which I've never noticed with pasteurized)... so that might have to do with some of the trouble I had with my previous blood/milk/egg fast.

As far as stirring, mine gets lighter at the top the of large glass jar I keep it in, so I just kind of swish it around before I pour some.

Watch the interview... the ones pushing the idea are fails.
I saw it before. You linked it to me in another thread.
The only problem the guy seemed to have with the venus project was how they would decide which items would be manufactured without a price system.
All in all though, I don't think the venus project is close to being perfect yet. But zeitgeist/venus project at least explain and attempt to begin to tackle very severe problems with our society.

I think because they have no internal competition they are happy but become weak as a country, so they have to attack other countries to stay alive. That's why people see them as evil, but the people in them are happy.

Edit: I was talking about communism because that seemed to be what Max was talking about.
na, was talking about countries like denmark, finland, netherlands http://www.thenewamerican.com/economy/economics-mainmenu-44/643
as far as I know they aren't attacking anyone ;]

Central planning(socialism) is the insane idea that our problems are going to dissolve if we allow one group of people the right to do whatever is necessary to solve those problems. In order for that to work, the group of people must be more altruistic than any human is capable of. Good luck with that. Zeitgeist is attempting to use a system that doesn't work, to do things it has proven it can not. Slogans like "make everything free" are very compatible with a quote by PT Barnum "every second a sucker is born".
No... that's not at all what zeitgeist/venus project is... there is no group of people that tells everyone what to do... venus project is much more like a scientifically/technologically advanced form of tribes.

If it ends up being necessary to have a smaller group of people making certain decisions then that group would be no different(except completely transparent, better designed, with no reasons for corruption) then current government assemblies.

GM is dangerous because it's been shown to cause serious health problems(why it's still legal in our food sources I'd like to know).
GM crops spread.
How are you going to find & eliminate all GM crops that have contaminated non-GM species? You can't...
Thus GM crops are very very dangerous.
Once they contaminate wild species there is no more wild paleo. The only guaranteed "paleo" would be grown/bred in enclosed structures.

All farmer's can do is test their own crops for contamination. If they're contaminated the farmer is fucked.

GMO's are dangerous. Monsanto is evil. This evil is driven by money.

Referring to zeitgeist automatically makes you a socialist.
No thanks Max, we have parasites in DC to focus on before we try any new experiments.

There are a lot of valid points in the film, but central planning is what got us here in the first place.
Here is a link for anyone who was mesmerized by zeitgeist,
"we have parasites in DC to focus on before we try any new experiments"
dude... it's never gonna change... 20% think the right are parasites, 20% think the left are parasites, 30% think they're all parasites... the rest don't bother at all...  -- the problem is with the system and it needs a massive overhaul.

"Referring to zeitgeist automatically makes you a socialist"
I haven't visited any socialist countries to see how this stuff actually works. But all I hear from Americans is that socialism is EVIL, then all I read is that the socialist countries have the happiest people in the world...

"but central planning is what got us here in the first place"
what?!?!??????

I didn't read the whole thread but neone, KD, and jessica seem to be the only non-blockheads. It's a waste of time discussing this with you other guys.
And btw, the restoring genetics/health thing with raw diet was prooven with cats, I'm sure it would work with humans as well.

EDIT: just read the whole thread. no difference.
"pottenger's cats" was the study I was referring to, and KD I was just agreeing with your statement:
"that we can change our genetic expression through raw eating OVER TIME"

High sex drive is great and something to be desired but I agree that it would be very irresponsible to continue having 5+ kids like many families(usually the poor ones which is even more stupid) do. China is notoriously bad with human rights, but their limiting children to 1 or 2 per family is a good thing IMO.

The majority of the population lives off cultivation, not meat, and already we're making many fish and animal species extinct. We're destroying our forests, polluting our oceans and waterways, and damaging many other parts of our natural environment - both because of our population boom and our irresponsible resource management due to our outdated money system.

I'm not anti-human life in anyway. I am anti-human suffering. It's simple deduction that if we lowered the population numbers it would be easier to provide for everyone and end ALL human and much animal suffering(the massive corporation owned animal feed lots that it takes to feed so many humans all breed animal cruelty).
