Van is correct about instinctive eating.
I myself do not season flavorings into food and learned that instinctive eating thing.
It is really helpful.

For example, instinctively I craved for raw starch, you can look it up here in this forum.

The seasonings I used were a curative thing for fungus mold

I discovered I need salt.  Himalayan salt works for me.

I had fungus / mold issues so I discovered Italian Seasoning.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_seasoning

These are dried herbs and really do the job of helping kill of fungus and parasites.

As for variety of meats, hell yeah I went around and did my exploration with sources for horse, goat, various sea food like fish, clams, oysters, crabs, squid, sea weed (I live in an archipelago)... different fruts, different raw starches, different raw veggies.

I dislike the taste of freshwater farmed fish, totally yuck tilapia / milkfish... too gross.

I know that in the mountains where I take my vacations in the Sierra Madre mountains, the civilized Filipinos who were transplanted by their parents and grew up there, they interbreed enough with the native mountain people the Dumagats.

Both variants of human beings are curious about each other.  It is mostly the males of the civilized having sex and babies with the Dumagat females.

The civilized males say the Dumagat females have fantastic vagina muscle control, they are pretty much horny, want to do it frequently, like daily, and even have special herbs they give to their men so their men can perform.  It is said that the Dumagat females appreciate civilized males' foreplay which they do not seem to get from their own Dumagat men.

Their mixed breed babies are being raised in the mountains with the Dumagats.

They do barter.  Until today.  And today the cell phones have reached the Dumagats' mountains so communication is much easier.

The civilized Filipinos cannot adjust to the low protein food / diet of the Dumagats and thus do not live with the Dumagats.

The half breeds though are the ones who can adjust and live with the civilized Filipinos.

There are big genetic differences there.

I think you're right on the salt thing. The raw meat I've been eating, except for tuna and salmon, felt really bland. Do you know of alternatives to sea salt?

Mid 20's, work in computer security, USA, I'm pretty active physically. I am also pretty lightweight and have trouble putting on weight.

In 2009 I had problems gaining weight. I ate a lot of raw meat every single day some 600 grams a day and could not gain weight.
By the end of 2009 I had tape worms crawling out of my butt.
I took a 30 days herbal dewormer program from www.humaworm.com com and got rid of my tapeworms / parasites.
My raw meat consumption crashed down from 600 to 200 to 100 grams a day and I gained a sane maintaining weight I had always wanted for the next years.

If you have not dewormed yourself for many years, now might be a good time.
I disagree with Aajonus that parasites are a good thing and not a problem.
I'm not afraid of parasites, I can and do kick them out when they cause problems for me or my kids.

Thank you for explaining your culture's view on spaying pets.  It is indeed a cultural difference.  We prefer the animals duke it out in the wild to survive on their own and you prefer spaying.  Well to each his own.

That said, it seems to be a well known phenomenon that spaying a cat makes it fat.

https://www.google.com.ph/search?q=spayed+cat+fat&oq=spayed+cat+fat&aqs=chrome..0j69i57j0l2.7575j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Anecdotal thing because spaying is RARE in my country, last year I went to a beach resort and saw a FAT and LAZY male dog.  I asked the owner how their dog could be so FAT and LAZY.  The owner said they had SPAYed the dog.  Ohhh....

>> She got sterilized at 7 month old, and she gained a lot of weight shortly after that.

This is OBSCENE.
This may be normal for your culture in your part of the world...
...but when I was a young boy with my sister when we were tourists in a foreign land where our host did this to her dog
...we were SHOCKED and HORRIFIED to learn that this other culture STERILIZES / SPAYs perfectly healthy pets.

Imagine a female human being being STERILIZED / SPAYED at 10 years old....

The mental block in your part of the world is thinking that STERILIZING / SPAYING your pet is normal and acceptable and healthy.

The message my sister and I got because we come from a 3rd world country is that this spaying female pets is done so it is more convenient for the pet owner so that their dog / cat does not menstruate all over their home or does not reproduce because the owner deems it so.

Just saying that your cat may be overweight because there is nothing natural about her state of health in the past few years... she got STERILIZED at 7 months.

In my experience, I need salt.  I think Aajonus is wrong on the no salt thing... in my experience.
I also recently learned the use of spices and herbs for flavoring, but more so against fungus mold that I had suffered from due to the house I used to live in.
Think italian spice and its components.

Why does their government insist on jailing parents for the death of their own baby?

Isn't the death of their own baby punishment enough for these parents?

I think there are fundamental differences regarding how men and women use these message boards....Perhaps there would be ways to encourage greater participation by the women folk, though im not sure where to start.....I could see more unscrupulous administrators of the forums of the future bringing in AI Fem bots to draw more interest.

Back to membership... Facebook happened.
Facebook and other social media has been consuming people's time.

I have seen other forums get replaced by Facebook.  Such as that one with radio controlled helicopters and planes my friend used to admin.  http://rcphilippines.com

I have another friend where his forum remains strong... that of talk of much sex, sex talk that requires anonymity... so his forum generates an income. http://manilatonight.com

Our forte as Raw Paleo Diet Forum is that our talk is specialized and some require anonymity, and we have freedom to talk about controversial topics and are not censorship freeks like Facebook.   So we have an angle to remain existing because we have info and discussions that are not Facebook friendly.

Or he can try wearing rattan slippers.  Or something with a material that does the same.

Shoes are important.  Even horses wear shoes if they are on mostly paved roads instead of soft dirt roads.

'What happens is, we reduce the exposure to external environmental bacteria, so we become the main source of bacteria, our skin, our mouth, we shed bacteria, and the house becomes highly humanized, most of the bacteria in a house in a city will be human,' she said.

Here is what I have observed so far.

Bacteria is, can, mostly good... if it's good outdoor provincial stuff.

Fungus and Mold is bad.

Fungus and Mold is the big bad problem these days.
