Just to let you guys know I have eaten raw eggs for 3 years and know people who have been eating them up to 10 years without ill effect. It's hard to believe anything you hear.

Hot Topics / Raw Eggs causing baldness a myth??
« on: April 21, 2011, 05:27:32 am »
I have read that eating raw eggs can cause baldness. Is there any factual proof to back this up? Does eating Raw eggs cause biotin deficiency?

Hot Topics / Re: Vague question for raw dairy drinkers
« on: February 11, 2011, 08:23:05 am »
Tyler I have spoken to a few farmers both organic and conventional about this. Grain feeding is primarily used for cattle that will be used for meat. It is the fastest way to fatten up a cow. Dairy cows are usually not fed grains on organic farms (at least here in Florida) with a few exceptions. The farmers I speak to (some personal friends of mine who wouldn't bullshit me) say that grass-fed cows produce the best milk and the most consistent yields. They also told me getting through the winters is tough for both them and the cows. The demand for dairy is still there, but the grass is thinning in the fields or nonexistent. Many farmers will feed grains at this point. There is a noticeable difference in raw milk from grass and grain fed cows. In the winter I cut my milk consumption to a minimal and mostly drink vegetable juices and water.

My advice is get to know the source you are buying from and try and avoid dairy in the winter because it is the lowest quality. Always buy fresh, except cheeses of course.

Hot Topics / Gum
« on: February 11, 2011, 07:35:28 am »
A lot of people have their vices. Some smoke, some do drugs, snuff, others gamble, etc...

My vice is gum. I like to chew gum.

I have been doing really well eating raw and feeling good. I still want to chew gum though. Is there such thing as a natural sugar-free gum without nasty chemicals? I honestly don't care so much about the taste. I just like to chew.  O0

The freaks from the PD say just rub a lemon on your pit. Sorry dudes, I need to smell a bit more alluring and not have bugs attracted to me.

Exercise / Bodybuilding / What is the concensus on the Sauna?
« on: September 14, 2010, 10:31:24 am »
I have heard mixed things on the sauna. I enjoy a good sauna, especially in the winter months.

Does anyone have any good information on the pros and cons of using them regularly.

Sorry if this has been discussed. I will look for threads as well...

Primal Diet / Re: Meal Plan
« on: October 12, 2009, 09:01:20 am »
I am eating 1 cooked meal per day but this is what I eat usually.

AM: 3-4 Raw Eggs, 1 Glass of Raw Milk, 1 Piece of Fruit

Late AM:  Fruit, Avacado, Mineral Water

Lunch: Raw beaf with shredded raw cheese, spoonful of honey

After Work: Glass of milk, spoonfull of honey or 2 Slices of French Bread with Unsalted Raw Butter

Dinner: Usaully Steamed Vegtables with Chicken (cooked) or I stray from the diet even worse  -\

Before Bed: 1 egg with Milk and Honey

I honestly feel better now then I ever have in my life and I have only been eating this way for a little over a month. I've lost 5 lbs and my skin and hair has improved. Hopefully eventually I will start eating more varieties of raw meat, but for now I am happy.

General Discussion / Re: Acne and Paleo Diet
« on: October 08, 2009, 10:24:50 am »
Yes I had rosacea and acne and eating raw foods has done wonders in clearing my skin up. I have gotten many compliments on my skin and eyes recently. I have been eating raw foods on and off for the past 8 years. I am 28. Whenever I go back to cook foods, I can count on my acne returning.

If you have bad acne you can speed up the process of clearing up your skin by using your own urine. Yes, I know it sounds gross, but its not that bad.

After your skin clears you can use raw honey in dabs or stone pressed olive oil to help heal scar tissue.

Primal Diet / Message from AV: Re Swine Flu
« on: October 04, 2009, 09:35:48 pm »
is in the newsletter archives at WeWant2Live.com. The main topic is of
utmost importance in which Aajonus gives the full story on one of the
most spoken of health concerns of our time: the swine flu hoax. Also, he
reveals his Survival Kit and how to prepare it, that so many people
requested. Additionally, proof that chubby people live longest.
Aajonus constructed a viable 6 pages 'Forced Vaccination - Acceptance of
Responsibility' form that all subscribers have access in 'articles and
essays' section. [note: In this newsletter, Aajonus refers to this
document at www.NoToSwineFlu.net which will be live in a few days; you
can refer anyone to this site once it is running.  It is free, requiring
anyone to enter name and a password.  It has a welcoming letter from
Aajonus before the form.] There are many links in this 'Forced
Vaccination' form to objective sources.  Please also see the last page
telling you how to use this form to prevent forced vaccination.
Some more BIG NEWS:  In www.youtube.com, search for 'wildandraw' to see
some video testimonials from people on the Primal Diet.  These have only
been posted for four days and Google/you tube has given two of them 5
stars already!  Once you see these, you are invited to send a link to
friends, family and/or anyone who needs or wants better health. Your
viewing and your participation in this will help because once Google/You
Tube sees a lot of people checking these out, Google/YouTube may
additionally post them in other prominent places.
Highest regards,

General Discussion / What is the best thread regarding freezing meat?
« on: September 19, 2009, 06:09:34 am »
Without going through every thread I was wondering if their was any threads that discussed how people obtain and store meat.

On an old Primal forum is was pretty much agreed that the order of preference would be

Grassfed Unfrozen
Grassfed Frozen
Conventional
Conventional Frozen

Although I value everyones opinion, I have spoken to a few scientists who have told me that the people who argue that freezing meat destroys the food value is overblown. And that the food value lost is less than 10%. Still far superior to eating any type of conventional.

Thoughts or threads where this was discussed?

This is not an issue about what diet you think is best or if you thing raw milk is health giving or hindering. This is about FREEDOM. Freedom to live the life you choose. I urge everyone to please sign this petition.

Maybe you think this does not effect you, but there will come a time when something you value goes under attack. And if that issue fights for personal choice and freedom, I would be glad to aid that cause.

Thanks,

Dan

Primal Diet / Re: Severe digestion problem and diarrhea
« on: September 18, 2009, 10:30:24 pm »
Do you feel like this only when you eat raw foods? What happens if you eat cooked ffoods for a few weeks? Just curious.

It does not even sound like you are doing the Primal Diet. Even though I hate to say this, if this is how bad you are doing, you might want to seek out a real medical doctor until you get stabalized. You can worry about a healing diet later.

General Discussion / Re: Warming the honey
« on: September 18, 2009, 10:22:43 pm »
Raw honey is packed with vitamins, minerals and digestive enzymes. There are countless testimonials about its healing properties used both internally and externally.  Spreading fear about its danger to organs is no different than someone coming on here saying raw meat will kill you because of bacteria and parasites. It’s just an outlandish claim with no scientific evidence to back it up. That said I don’t think anyone should eat large amounts of raw honey daily. But taken in conjunction with raw fats occasionally I can only see it as health giving.

General Discussion / Re: Eating time and freshness
« on: September 18, 2009, 03:24:35 am »
I stop eating after dinner but usaully eat 1 raw egg an hour before bed. Sometimes I wash it down with a small glass of milk. This usaully helps me sleep well.

Intestinal bleeding is greatly helped by cabbage juice. Try carrot/cabbage juice several times a day. No more than 25% cabbage. Make pints and add the cabbage last and drink immediatly. Cabbage oxidizes very quickly.

Raw goat milk is also beneficial for ulcers.

General Discussion / What do you do when Organic is unavailable ?
« on: September 16, 2009, 05:46:29 am »
There are certain things that I love that I cannot get organic or the prices just don't justify the purchase for me. For example, blueberries are my favorite fruit and I can almost never get them organic (or the price is just insane).

Then it leads to the dilemma of is it okay to ever eat conventional? If so where do you draw the line? I think you all might understand where I am getting at.

General Discussion / Re: How much sleep do you get a night?
« on: September 16, 2009, 05:41:25 am »
Yeah Tyler your sleep schedule is almost a mirror of mine as of late.

For you guys who sleep on the floor, all I can say is, I'll stick to my bed  ;D

More power to you if it makes you feel better.

Primal Diet / Re: Need Ideas for Shaving Cream Please
« on: September 16, 2009, 05:37:27 am »
I just want to state one thing before this thread continues. I often hear natural or raw food-ers say things like, "hey the diet is will prevent bad breath or body odor, you don't have to worry!"

I agree (somewhat). Yes, I think you have far less problem odors when on a raw diet, but I think taking your body to a higher level of freshness is still desirable. I wear dress clothes to work, I am almost always active, and am in close contact with a lot of woman each day. I want to smell good and feel clean. I also don't want to put chemicals on my body.

Thanks for the ideas, keep them coming. I will post my toothpaste recipe on a new thread.

Journals / Re: Karl Loren's Journal
« on: September 15, 2009, 09:36:11 am »
I've spoken to Karl (not his real name) a few times over the course of the last few years. He is a very thoughtful and wise man. He never really went full blown primal, but his experiments and promotion of Aajonus's diet open a lot of people's minds to alternative diets and thinking.

I would reccomend anyone to visit his website. www.karlloren.com

I don't think he updates it anymore, but that's not to say you can't learn anything from it.
