yeah, i'll probably do whatever the instructions or websites suggest. I'm not into big ruptures in what I am doing these days, but definitely little ones. Something is very appealing to me about eating fungus and sea plants even when they are not appealing to the palate. I dunno just seems like a good idea. I definitely don't ascribe to the idea that if its possible to live without something so why bother.

Sapote.  I know it's imported, or probably is, I'm sure it didn't grow within a hundred miles, so not very paleo.  I saw it though, and decided to get one.  It's delicious!

I agree, we may not always have the luxury. With things like the carrington event that could take place at any moment. We are faced with the possibility of ONLY having food from less than 50 miles from our dwelling. I say enjoy.  8)

Did you always like high meat or did you come to like it over time?
Over time, of course ;)

Half of the duck that I bought on Monday and the one-week-old lamb tongues and one heart + some horse fat - that's what I've eaten today
By the way, that's how the fridge with my delicacies looks like :):

from the left side, on the top:
almost 4 kg of ram's testicles that I bought today
at the front Blue Ice bottle "secured" in a jar
big jar with the lamb kidneys with the fat and the smaller one with kidneys without fat, except from the one
on the right side - the one-week-old lamb tongues and hearts
at the bottom:
on the left side - 3 kg of horse meat
on the right - half of the duck

Raw stagmeat as usual.

So Hannibal.
There was no heat(hot water etc.) used to remove the feathers from the duck?

Wonderful pics btw.

Yes, there was - a little bit of fire AFAIK. Wife of my friend Abdullah, from whom I bought those ducks, prepared it for me.
But everything that I've eaten was 100% raw :)
I'm not so orthodox to eat the feathers ;)

LOL !! Not even high!

Wonderful photo!

Not even high!
A little bit high, smelly on the surface of the skin and bones - I love it.
When it's in that state I devour it like a wild animal, as you can see on the pic. ;)

beef tongue, beef shank, and bison marrow for lunch and dinner. i also had a little bit of lamb liver and beef thymus. and i found some large carpenter ants (some nearly two centimeters!) under some rocks while hiking. ate a good amount of them. they had an almost vinegary taste, very strange but not bad. kinda sweet. i guess it was a no plant carb day

the carpenter ants look like this (not my pic):

Meatballs from grass-fed ground beef which was nice and fatty.
I spiced them up with some fresh ground spices, a little cayenne...and let them dry overnight.
I am a meatball fan now  ;D

I had some badger meat tonight, for the first time. Quite a lot of under-skin fat, but not as tasty as other animals fat and the muscle flesh is still to fresh for me, so I didn't eat a lot of it. Completed my meal with a bit of cauliflower, a tomato, chestnuts and latter on a few persimmons and apples from my trees.

Wow. I can't eat raw badger in the UK as they are protected. Is it gamey tasting like raw wild boar, raw wild venison and the like?

I checked and it seems it's not protected in France. Anyway it was a roadkill given to a friend who gave me a rear leg of it. The fat tastes a bit strange, different than others wild animals fat, but not the muscle. I'll wait a few days or weeks to eat the rest, especially since I have a lot of other meats to eat first, before it gets too hard to chew!

Eating some great goat meat, I love goat!
Compared to raw deer its more chewy and easier to tare apart.
My cats like it too  :)

Earlier on I had salad of sauerkraut that we made ourselves, with some mayo (just raw eggs and oil), tomato, daikon and dill.

I love raw goat! It has a really pungent taste that many SAD-eaters hate but I love!

(I am still on a raw wild stagmeat diet for now plus some radishes(nonorganic) and some raw fruits like oranges.).

Lunch: bison ribs, high meat (beef muscle), venison jerky, lamb suet

Dinner: wild hog shoulder roast, bison marrow, beef thymus, goat brain

another zero carb day for me i guess. rare for me lately as i've been eating a lot of different local carbs. lately i've been eating a ton of local wild pecans that i've been gathering. i guess i need something in them because they taste amazing and i haven't had any problems digesting them. also been eating some green cabbage leaves, jicama, turk's cap fruit, and hackberry. also been eating some halawi dates every now and then which are delicious but not local (and i can't be totally sure they're unheated - i don't get problems from them though). i think i'm eating all this intuitively to fatten up a bit before winter... i'm up to 128 lbs from 108 lbs when i got back from thailand! above my weight before i left of 122 lbs

I wonder how many different animal species meats can you eat in a single meal without feeling heavy! I always eat the meat from a single specie per meal (although as much as I want, sometimes a lot), as I feel satisfied with that. I'm wary to mix meats from different species and I guess it would very seldom happen in nature.
