Hi dear,

The péople here are nice but not into rewilding at all.

Hi Guys, after few months in remote places of my soul and Nature, I finally came to a conclusion in my Life.
I woke up from a what I think it was a deep sleep and found my self alone and incredibly hungry for Love and Community with like minded people.

I live with other people on a beautiful farm at the moment but I just feel the need to have other paleo people into rewilding..

I could go hunting, fishing etc but I just feel I d love to have somebody to share all these things with.

Just cannot go on like this anymore.

Im starving of Love.

...

General Discussion / Homemade Fermented Coconut Milk
« on: October 25, 2013, 06:28:18 pm »
Hi guys,
several days ago I made some coconut milk (from old coconut plus water), put it in the fridge and totally forgot it for a week or so.
Yesterday, I found it and it smelled like cheese. It was all set up in pieces.
I decided to give it a try and so far, so good.

Do you guys eat this?

Over the internet I found articles about culturing coconut milk into cheese but always with the adding of some specific bacterias..
I wonder if that is strictly necessary since it seems it worked very well without anything..

Yes, some are pretty big but have not yet eaten them.
Ate a bunch of gastropods yest at the ocean.
Some of them were tasting hot and spicy and stained my fingers violet.

I also heard they can stick to your throat. Another thing I heard was if you squeeze the grasshopper from the middle to the back as you hold its wings you can squeeze the poop out of it.

Yes, true.

What parts you remove?

Fatty-leafy.
I remove the legs as they are a bit bitter..

Hey guys
these days I am eating black grasshoppers straight from the garden here, with the head

and local fish. I enjoy squeezing the pupil into my mouth.

Does any of us holds “the exact truth”? ???

GCB lauched the raw paleo movement 48 years ago by asking questions, not at all by pretending to hold the ultimate, exact truth. These questions are still open today:

- Did the human species have enough time to fully adapt to cooked, Neolithic and modern foods?
- Is such an adaptation possible?

Decades of experimentation tend to lead to a “no”, at least as an answer to the first question, but still it would be wise, more humble and thus more acceptable to most folks to recognize that we do not hold the ultimate truth but are still experimenting and only have provisional and incomplete answers.

IMO, there cannot be an adaptation to cooked foods because molecules released by cooking varies everytime..
But this does not mean some cooked foods are deadly.
Like for example I think that starch (from tubers, roots) is not harmful when eaten in moderate amounts.

But proteins and fats, along with micronutrients HAVE to be raw or max. steamed.

There are some plants in the wild that need to be cooked otherwise are poisonous.

Are you sure of the quality and freshness of the fish?
Are you getting it for free or discounted price?

Be careful.

12
Or should I use an axe or something like that?
Haha, you could try and have some fun with it!
 :)

13
Or is it possible to thaw it half way so that fish can be separted and then once again freezing it in small bags?
That s the way!  ;)

14
Yes. I work in a vegan  restaurant and I am also specializing as a forest guide.
I live with a core group of 3 people (2 westeners and 1 brazilian) plus the local workers but they live 1 km away from here, within the same property.

15
Since it has already been frozen, you could separate it into several cellophane packets and store the ones you do not need for the day into the freezer and leave out those you are going to eat.

When you feel like eating it,  just take a packet out of the freezer and allow to defrost..

where is that?

Sorry, I did not mean to infringe any rules.  -[

It is just that for me being naked is the most natural (and logical) thing to do...

It looks funny to see people wearing clothes nowaday, even though I grew up like that myself..

A couple of days ago I was at the Ocean and went on  a secluded beach. Got naked to sunbathe and Life_gazing.
A fisherman passed by and looked at me repetitively.  Af first, I could not understand why.
I got so absorbed in the beauty of Nature that it was only 30 min after that out of the blue I realized he did so because I was not wearing any clothes..   l) l)

Well, I suppose we could go the whole hog and have one of our female members parading topless in photos,  as a  stunning representative of  the raw, palaeolithic diet.

I ve posted a naked pic of mine next to a 200 years old tree in this forum already.  ;D ;D

If you live outside the tropics, most commonly youll find "old" coconuts with white thick flesh.
To scoop it and separate it from the woody part, try use an oyster knife or anything similar.

Young coconut flesh is much better IMO. The meat is jelly and tastes like yolks! heh

We make raw coconut oil on the farm.

Instinctive sleeping and resting postures: an anthropological and zoological approach to treatment of low back and joint pain
[/size]

If you are a medical professional and have been trained in a “civilised” country you probably know next to nothing about the primate Homo sapiens and how they survive in the wild. You probably do not know that nature has provided an automatic manipulator to correct most spinal and peripheral joint lesions in primates. In common with millions of other so called civilised people you suffer unnecessarily from musculoskeletal problems and are discouraged about how to treat the exponential rise in low back pain throughout the developed world. Humans are one of 200 species of primates.1 All primates suffer from musculoskeletal problems; nature, recognising this fact, has given primates a way to correct them.

He looks the picture of health otherwise, good, tight, blemish free skin, no bags under the eye, healthy weight, kind of weird red tint to the teeth but well ignore that!
Right!

I am surprised there aren't as many negative comments as I expected.
Sadly, I think there were many idiotic ones..
